You don’t want to know the kind of losses event planners & event engineers are making now. Everyone within the value chain of any event that has to do with gathering may not have a job in years to come. This is an industry that’s been thriving daily for years. Think about it. ⛱

Think about sound engineers and those that rent out musical instruments for shows. All their investments and interest on loans for equipment they have procured and we’re paying for in installments. It is those directly affected that will understand for the now. 😞 #Covid19Nigeria

The last time some people got patronage was January and this is May almost running time an end. Our Bills don’t care about the pandemic. They will show up and tug at us regardless. Many businesses have died, some are dying and others are bracing themselves for impact.

If you are going through this struggle so know that you are not alone. We will get through this and be better for it. Don’t give in to despondency. Reach out to your loved ones and don’t think about the losses. It will all come back. Just be safe. We will share what we have.

Event spaces that took deposit for events as at January for bookings for March, April, June to August are claiming they cannot refund and that the event would have to hold with social distancing as a strategy. They said they can’t cancel. Money gone & obviously no event.

A few friends that lost their parents couldn’t attend the burial due to the lockdown. They watched on zoom the brief burial void of any ceremony whatsoever. Those whose problem is merely giveaway money for data don’t understand what others are going through. Be sensitive.
