While two “leaders” pose for cameras & flout science, #COVID ravages Georgia. Case in point: “Hancock is a microcosm of where the disease hunts: The county is lower-income and overwhelmingly African-American; it contains two nursing homes with poor ratings, and one prison.”
Vulnerable folks in Georgia & around the nation are just collateral damage to Trump & his lackeys. Pence fiddled while disease took hold in Indiana & the US. Kemp foxed us with bad data. These are men of cowardice & incompetence. We need real leaders who see us and fight for us.

No matter what excuses you hear from @realDonaldTrump or @senatemajldr, voter fraud is a lie they’ve peddled for years. The truth: the GOP wins by impeding eligible citizens from voting.

It’s not paranoia when it takes a court order to make it stop:

“The court ban on Republican Party voter-fraud operations was imposed in 1982, and then modified in 1986 and again in 1990, each time after courts found instances of Republicans intimidating or working to exclude minority voters in the name of preventing fraud.” And in 2004...
They intend to hire an army of intimidation, block vote by mail so people have to risk their lives, and lie about fraud to hide the real culprit: voter suppression. But Americans can fight back and demand fair elections.

Voters need to trust the election process, regardless of who is operating the system. Mistakes were made in Iowa, and voters' confidence has been shaken. But people should not lose faith in our democracy. We must keep voting, while we demand accountability and improvement.
The Iowa Democratic Party has taken responsibility and corrective action, which is the first step to restoring trust. The next step is re-examining the caucus process.
Regardless of the tech issues, Iowa uses a caucus system that excludes people who cannot participate because of work or family obligations. The most democratic process invites all eligible voices, which is why early and mail-in voting and a full Election Day are essential.
