PM is up before liaison committee on Wednesday. He now has to be asked about the legal status of coronavirus regulations that he appears to have rendered null and void. What are the rules now?
I cannot recall a political scandal in my lifetime where the Prime Minister has openly contradicted his own advice and law, as followed by almost the entire country, to defend an adviser. This is personal. We followed that advice. Some at great cost. Hence the anger.
Number of folks saying the Liaison Committee on Wednesday won't be able to pursue this story because of the chair being a Number 10 appointment. But the chair never asks all the questions, so that's not accurate.
