There is a treasure trove of research proving that Fox News is killing people and yet few people in power are calling for this corporation and it’s executives to be held directly accountable for their actions. Why?
Here’s another study coming to similar conclusions:
There are people on death row right now who were convicted with less evidence than the amount of evidence proving Fox News (and specific Fox hosts) have killed people. And yet, imposing some form of accountability for this is barely even discussed in the political discourse. Why?

Note that the MAJORITY of police departments DO NOT require officers to intervene if they see another officer using excessive force. useofforceproject.org
Note that the Duty to Intervene policy was only adopted by Minneapolis PD in 2016, after organizers successfully pressured the city into changing their use of force policy.

I feel like there isn’t high speed rail in America in large part because they couldn’t draw a straight line from one location to the other that only went through Black neighborhoods.
It’s not like the highway system, where the government actually did build highways that winded through (and demolished) predominantly Black areas and avoided white areas wherever possible. High speed trains, by contrast, need to accelerate along a relatively straight track/line.

Under Florida’s Police “Bill of Rights” law, if the police take longer than 180 days to investigate themselves for misconduct it becomes illegal to discipline any officers involved. In this case the sheriff took *182* days so this cop gets reinstated despite being found guilty.
Here’s the provision in Florida’s police bill of rights law that prevents officers from being disciplined or fired if the misconduct investigation lasts longer than 180 days, even if the officer is found guilty of egregious misconduct: leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index…
7 states (CA, FL, KY, LA, MD, OR, RI) have these restrictions on misconduct investigations, letting police avoid accountability. In Louisiana, investigations get tossed if they aren’t closed in 60 days but the officers can’t be questioned by investigators for the first 30 days.🤔
