I might as well drop a thread about PH social issues since we're talking about politics.

PH Social Issues (thread):

- The largest TV Broadcasting network was shut down (ABSCBN) without warning and 11,000 Filipinos lost their jobs.

- DepEd forcing students to attend online classes despite not assessing that some don't have access to the Internet or modern technology.

- The president threatening the "left" and commanding the military to whoever opposes the government to "shoot them dead."

- NBI arresting a teacher and other people for supposedly giving "death threats" to the President on Social Media.

- POGO or the Philippine Offshore Gambling Operation continuing operation despite it not being a help to our economy.

- "VIP" Mass Testing.

- Senator Koko Pimentel not getting arrested despite him violating quarantine protocols and him being a carrier of the disease itself.

- Police officers celebrating a police chief's birthday despite it being a clear violation of protocol.

- P275 billion + (~$500M) are not being spent transparently on stopping and preventing the pandemic.

- Mass testing isn't evident, Roque even stated that he'll leave it to the private sector to handle it.

- The justice system isn't even just; it goes in favor to those who have power. (Looking at you, Mocha Uson.)

- Women havinf s*x with police officers just to get through quarantine checkpoints and be able to provide for their family.

- PNP shooting an ex-Marawi soldier with PTSD because they felt "threatened" by him.

THIS WAS ONLY IN THE SPAN OF THREE MONTHS INTO THE PANDEMIC. THIS IS ONLY THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG.

And they have the audacity to transition Metro Manila to GCQ (Which means that mostly everything will be open by now and public transport will slowly but surely be opened again.)

This is a repost of my old thread. I deleted it because I got attacked by multiple people and I decided to shrug it off because:

A. People don't understand that #BlackLivesMatter isn't the only issue here but also the brutality and abuse of power by those who bear it.

B. Why did we only speak up now when people are already getting hurt? We could've prevented this.

C. Since politics is not welcomed here, I guess people want to cancel me for having an "invalid opinion." Look, the issue is much bigger than blacks.

It's global. Minorities are always oppressed by those who are in the majorities and that's how this stupid fucking racist world works. And whites, please come to term that you guys aren't oppressed. It's pretty evident now. That's all, and if you ever attack me again, remember

some of you guys are going to be back tweeting anime in about 24 to 48 hours and forget this thing even existed. This is a much bigger issue that needs to be addressed and if I'm going to be attacked, so be it.

I'm also sending my prayers to the families of George Floyd and to all the other blacks that have been discriminated, hated and oppressed by the majorities. Break the stereotype.

The House passed a bill regarding to spending more money on campaigns and votes. DURING THIS PANDEMIC.
