Global pandemics, by definition, cannot be restricted within the confines of state borders and boundaries. The medium of our response needs to be equally ubiquitous. Tech revolution witnessed in 21st century has brought a smartphone to almost every pocket around us. /3
Delhi Corona plans to make the most of this by providing a single avenue to cater to all the needs and issues - clinical health, public health, lockdown services, critical information and actionable insight- of the Delhi populace during these tough times. /4
It aims to leverage technology to help fight against the specter of Coronavirus. This platform will ensure a seamless experience for the user while complying with citizen-friendly privacy and security norms, built as a stack and continue to be updated over time. /5

Barkha, a freelance developer and Vaibhav Singhal, an engineering manager at Grofers brought the development home and to conclusion. Megha Arora at Palantir and Kapil Waswani at Microsoft Research were gracious with their sagely advice on security, privacy and identity. /7
Akanksha Gupta, Raj Bhagat Palanichamy, Arunima Girotra and Garima Jain at @WRIIndia @WRIRossCities helped with great GIS mapping and graphics/design support leading to an aesthetic and information-rich application. They continue to work as I do this tweetstorm! /8

The silent unsung tech/IT heroes are Vijay Chandra Vupputuri and Gopal Mohan at DDC and the CM office who've rapidly built, designed, deployed and delivered relief and response services assisting lakhs of citizens in this time of crisis truly leveraging tech for governance. /11
