OK, NOW muni update. Presentation: www-static.bouldercolorado.gov/docs/7A_Public…
This is all about public engagement process.
So not so much an update on the negotiations themselves. Just what city is doing to inform the public.

Reminder: There's an info session this Friday. I forget what time.
It was in my newsletter. Which you should totally sign up for.
OK, so community feedback is lasting now through early July.

"We really want to have a period of ideation from community members," Engagement Manager Sarah Huntley
Translation: What do you want to see city ask for in negotiations? Now through July is your time to share that.
Next phase will be mid-June through July where city negotiating team reports back to the community and provides assessment about realistic ideas and non-viable ones (and why)
Xcel will participate in the first-phase events, which will be facilitated by the fabulous Heather Bergman. (she does the city council retreats)
There are three 90-minsessions scheduled: June 5, 10 and 24 for residents

One TBD for biz and "key customers"
And one TBD in Spanish
More info and registration here: bouldercolorado.gov/local-power/wo…
The second phase (reporting back on negotiations) will have two virtual sessions. TBD
Seems like a good time to update you all that I'm making good progress on my Muni 101 stuff.

Will be doing the written part first, then looking to partner with ppl to do a podcast and video or two.
Would really love to do a Drunk History-style video on the muni. Now accepting applications for on-screen talent. Must know lots about the muni and willing to talk about it while drunk on camera.

Your compensation will be free booze.
Back to business
From Huntley: Please don't sign up for all three information sessions in each phase. We want as many ppl as possible to have access.

City will listen to every suggestion, no matter if 1 person says it or 20.
And you can keep emailing council: council@bouldercolorado.gov

Reminder: These are public. (Though v hard to read)
That's the end of the presentation and maybe the meeting (fingers crossed).
