I've seen tons of friends and fellow authors maintain their subscriptions to the New York Times through all the paper's terrible decisions. Where is the line? If you won't cancel even as they provide a platform for more calls to violence, when WILL you? What will it take?
You value your pretentious appearance of faux intellectualism more than American lives? You value some vain "both sides"-ism more than a functioning government? What is it? What's keeping you supporting the calls to violence against your fellow citizens?
If you still decide to support this newspaper, you are making a choice. If you are supporting their calls to violence, you are making a choice. If you are paying for them to write fawning pieces over Nazis, you are making a choice.
And that choice has consequences for everyone.
The monster that everyone out there is fighting against has many heads and the New York Times' preening "above it all" bullshit, the sniveling way they chuckle about calls to violence like it's just another brunch party, is one of them.

Make your choice: appearances or people.
And if your choice is appearances, get out of my sight.
people are out there getting gassed, getting the shit kicked out of them, putting everything on the line to make this country better, don't you fucking tell me you can't bring yourself to stop giving money to a shitty paper
