Seattle lifted their curfew, cops haven’t tear gassed or shot at anyone, and protests are still completely peaceful at midnight. Wow it’s almost like if the police don’t attack, protests don’t magically turn into riots when the sun goes down
Shit came close though bc they put on their gas masks and almost tear gassed everyone at 10pm because people were passing around a box of apples and the cops thought they were gonna throw them. They were just snacks 😐
even if they did throw them I’m not sure why a few people throwing apples at cops in full riot gear holding shields would justify teargassing an entire crowd of people but hey I’m not a piece of shit

My friend got gassed by the SPD a few days ago so last night I watched the streams and listened to the scanner so if it was gonna happen I could warn her, but then it didn’t happen so that’s what this tweet was about. The SPD is still very bad.
The narrative that late night protests turn into riots is wrong and cops don’t gas people because they’re being violent, they gas peaceful people and then shit gets crazy. Basically last night just proved that the justification for curfews is bs

The reason I said “they haven’t tear gassed or shot anyone” is bc the protest wasn’t over and I didn’t know if they still might later since I was live tweeting this. Sorry for the confusion and please do post your vids of SPD being violent ass fuckers
Two days before this my friend @robloxth0tty got tear gassed, six cops pulled guns on her, and a civilian tried to run them over and the SPD let him go then gassed them for breaking the dude’s windows since ya know he was trying to kill them. The cops are instigators. 
Last night a civilian tried to run over protesters and the cops let him go. AGAIN. Then the cops put on their gas masks. But they didn’t end up gassing or shooting and everything stayed peaceful even though it got very late! If the cops don’t instigate, things stay peaceful
But we definitely shouldn’t applaud cops for not shooting and gassing their citizens. They shouldn’t be in riot gear. They shouldn’t have an LRAD. They shouldn’t be there at all. Let people protest! Defund the police. OK I’m done now I swear
