PS/ I just don't want people getting their hopes up—and candidly I don't find it responsible for wishful thinking to be presented as simple fact. As I said, there are *numerous accurate facts* in the narrative I just linked to. But as to where it's all heading? That's conjecture.
PS2/ Was there a counterintelligence investigation? Yes. Did Mueller know about it and contribute to it? Yes. Is it broader in scope than the criminal investigation? Yes. Does the Senate have access to the full sweep of it? Maybe—maybe not. Will it ever come out? Maybe—maybe not.
PS3/ Until I see major-media investigative reporting to the contrary, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence created a separate report using its own investigators, and that report isn't authored by the FBI Counterintelligence Division. The reports are *not* one and the same.
