PS/ The piece says unemployment still likely "declined a little" from April, as an April error may mean unemployment then was as high as 19.7%. But, the upshot: if you thought 13.3% was wrong, you're right; if you suspect Trump presided over almost 20% unemployment, you're right.
PS2/ I'm a little confused at the idea that the April numbers were low by 5% but the May numbers were only low by 3%, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see yet another update down the line clarifying all this still further, but either way, it decimates Trump's narrative for today.
PS3/ Everyone wants the unemployment rate as low as it can be—but we also want accurate numbers and an honest POTUS, neither of which we've had. Exposing Trump's hasty acceptance of an improbable number is necessary work; we know he would've asked questions if the rate went *up*.
