Somebody tagged me on this thinking that it is a statement that education is useless.

Kenyans, how can I help you? Why on earth do you still believe aristocrats and racists say about education?

First, Cummings is one of the new rich people I've been talking about. Guys like the Nairobi governor who are first generation powerful/rich, who come from poor backgrounds, and grovel to the kids with old money, then come back to their roots whenever they need more ideas.

He's in the center of a scandal. So next you want to put down those of us who fight for real education for everybody, first Wikipedia people. Si watu wa e-learning wamesema no need for teachers since there's internet? Basi tumia hiyo internet and check who you're talking about.

Two. The guy actually asked for degrees. What he didn't want is one type of degree: English.

This is what he is looking for. There's a pattern to what he's asking for, which anyone who has read David Graeber's book #Bullshitjobs will recognize.

All these degrees are about manipulating people with words and numbers. He's constructing another version of Cambridge Analytica to control people. If you read his blog, you'll see why.

He's in Boris's govt. They've promised heaven on earth through #brexit. They need to deliver.

But instead of asking for people who can make the lives of British people better - like teachers, medics, social.workers etc, he's asking for people to help with propaganda.

That explains why he hates the humanities. Because humanities people ask questions about human welfare.

This is what aristocrats and their butlers like him have wanted from the unis. People who can manipulate the public to work for nothing and without asking questions, and people who will build things to give themselves a sense of imperial grandeur. Concrete and power, not people.

It's a Hitlerian, Julius Caesar kind of fantasy that all autocrats, from US to Brazil to India and even Kenya are dreaming about. It's rooted in the Roman Empire on which they have been educated.

So when you see Magoha taking everyone to tech degrees, be very afraid.

This is the kind of thinking that colonized us and continues to keep us poor, and kill us. You are very naive if your father is not a somebody and you believe what these fascists in Britain and Kenya say about education. Their end goal is to enslave you.

That's why they want communicators and data analysts: to manipulate you into thinking they want the best for you.

Believe NOTHING this government or the private sector say about education and employment. Nothing. They're wolves in sheep's clothing.
