Here's Politico @joshgerstein confused about why Mueller's lawyers show up in Virginia as basically just US Attorneys.

Going back to Rod, he explained in his opening statement that there were only 3 US Attorneys currently in office in May 2017! He had to appoint someone just for manpower reasons. Appoint, as a US Attorney, not a Ken Starr.

And here's the money quote. From Mueller's prosecutors to Judge Ellis. Manafort had filed a motion for dismissal based on his tax issue being outside Mueller's "scope". This was Mueller's explanation

Rosenstein could never have appointed Mueller under 600 the Special Counsel law as intended by Congress, because it requires a crime, and a conflict. Here there was neither, just a counterintelligence investigation. Early on experts cried foul:

Does it matter that Mueller wasn't technically what the entire country, including legal experts, thought he was? Not really. Just like it doesn't matter Gretchen Whitmer is out protesting.

Just that it was a fraud.

Everything the Elite do is a complete fraud.
