It’s unclear why mounted police officers were ordered to charge (slowly) at protestors down Whitehall.

It appears that the horse was spooked & galloped towards the crowd.

It seems to run beneath a traffic sign which strikes the officer causing him/her to fall off backwards.

According to @GStarkeyMidha, police are letting protesters out of the ‘kettle’ one-by-one after taking their details (on camera).

“Police officers threatened us with arrest if we didn’t comply....one black man was arrested for refusing to give his name.”

According to @GStarkeyMidha & other witnesses, the police have kettled hundreds of #BLMUK protesters in Whitehall for a number of hours

They are currently being let out one at a time but must give their name, address & DOB before they are allowed to leave

Remaining protesters r now being escorted across Westminster Bridge, & told under the dispersal order they cannot return for 24hrs making it a criminal offence for them to join tmw’s protest.
