I've been telling my followers on Twitter for a couple of years that they should...

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER
BET AGAINST MY INSTINCTS.

And you're about to find out why that's more true than ever.

#MartinGugino #BuffaloPD #ProgressiveBS
On the evening of Thursday June 4, 2020, a video emerged of an incident in #Buffalo in which a 75-year-old man accosted #BuffaloPD police in riot gear as they were clearing the streets of protesters after curfew was invoked. He ignored their lawful orders to "Get back," and as a
result, he was shoved by two of the advancing officers. He stumbled, fell backwards, smacked his skull on the pavement, and started bleeding out of his ear. 😳 It was a horrifying sight, to be sure. Here's how #BuffaloPD first spoke of the incident in response to media Q's.
While most reactions were focused *exclusively* on the actions of #BuffaloPD and disputing the account saying the yet-to-be identified man had "tripped," I had a wider range of questions about what had happened and tweeted them knowing I would catch hell:
About two hours later that Thursday evening, the top worldwide trending topic was "He's 75." I instantly knew who "he" was. This led to doxxing and threats against a BPD officer. I responded to #YoungTurks' Cenk Uygur's charge that the police were "barbaric" thusly (below right):
My point was the dude has been around more than long enough to understand the risk one takes when they get obstruct police doing their job. He's 75, not 7 *or* 5.

It seemed fairly obvious to me that unless he could claim he was senile, he was being deliberately provocative.
About 48 hours later, we can observe indications from his online activity that the 75-year-old man - #MartinGugino - fully understood the possible high price of defying police in riot gear *and that he might have been willing to pay it.* Observe his Twitter feed in the days
and hours leading up to the evening of June 4.

Gugino's blog "Persistent Vegetative State" shows his passion to protest "injustice." Most of those discussed are familiar, but some are far from the purview of the mainstream left (e.g. The legality of US' presence in Guantanamo)
Here's Gugino on his YouTube page making a video plea for leniency to a judge on behalf of a friend convicted of trespass and vandalism at a Georgia nuclear weapons facility. He argues that all 7 convicted defendants "had a right to come on [to the] base"
because they were exercising their "right to petition the government for a redress of grievances." Gugino rambled nervously for over 20 minutes before concluding by declaring a Code Pink activist who scaled the WH fence in 2015 did NOT disobey a "lawful order."

*Remember this.*
When it comes to the current protests: In reply to a BLM-like group's invite to a Zoom meeting about (among other issues) strategizing to accomplish the goals of the #DefundPolice movement (center) Gugino expresses his willingness not to be bound by "barricades" (below right)👇🏾
(SIDEBAR: Note the huge building engulfed in flames prominently featured in the invitation. Not exactly "peaceful." No, Gugino isn't responsible for arson, but ask yourself: What would you think of a conservative who retweeted a flyer for a "Unite The Right"-type gathering?)
In the days preceding Thursday's confrontation, #MartinGugino expressed his feelings about police officers in riot gear (4:09 pm EDT, Wednesday, June 3, 2020)
At 9:32 pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, #MartinGugino was opining as he did in his video about what he believes constitutes a "lawful order" to be obeyed by protesters and what does not:
Gugino also retweeted his fellow leftist baldy, former Stoneman Douglas student and MSM heartthrob Emma Gonzalez, who had this erudite insight to share as the midnight hour approached (11:21 pm EDT, June 3, 2020):
Now it's Thursday morning, June 4. #MartinGugino is champing at the bit, raring to go. He misinterprets this liberal writer's slap at NYT's editorial board for allowing #TomCotton to suggest a military solution to rampant violence and looting, saying this...sound familiar?
Now we fast forward to Thursday afternoon, about 3 1/2 hours before #Buffalo's 8pm curfew will go into effect. What's on #MartinGugino's mind as what he views as an illegal order is about to be imposed? A: Slashing police budgets and firing "any cop who hurts anyone...right away"
As the clock ticked down to destiny, #MartinGugino retweeted self-described radical icon Naomi Klein, who tweeted three-year-old video of her remarks extolling readiness to "flood the streets" whenever the Trump Adminstration declares a state of emergency
"A bit of a fortune teller," Gugino said of Klein, who retweeted this video from socialist publisher Haymarket Books (FACT: Company was named after an 1886 massacre in which an anarchist's bomb killed 7 Chicago police officers). Listen to what Klein says:
And now, pay VERY close attention to the 6/4/20 4:43 pm tweet below, because it contains a preview of events involving #MartinGugino. It is a RT of Hillary fanboi Peter Daou, who spuriously suggests this woman who's resisting arrest was being "groped" by an Indianapolis cop. 🙄😒
Note how as the first woman is hit with (presumably) bean bag projectiles, the 2nd woman intervenes shouting "Why her?" as the cops finally take the first woman down with batons. Woman #2 is told "BACK UP!" three times and THEN shoved to the pavement.
Let's not forget this little detail: In quote tweeting Daou, Gugino uses the hashtag #ACAB, which means "All Cops Are Bastards." Not some. Not most. Every single one. That's important to remember when people try to gaslight you into believing the same guy who tweets "ACAB" and
"F**k the police" is actually a guy who would walk up to #Buffalo cops because one of them lost their helmet, and he just wanted to return it as they were in the process of enforcing the curfew he's on record as saying was unlawful and ought to be defied.
So, then...what WAS #MartinGugino REALLY doing? He already established in his own Twitter TL that it might be fatal to be near cops in riot gear. So WTF was he doing? Is the key in this video? 🤷🏾‍♂️I dunno, I'm not a techie and couldn't say either way, but...
There is NO reason to believe the helmet he was carrying was not HIS OWN. He actually volunteered that he was wearing a helmet with a shield to protect himself from COVID. But then, he approached those dangerous #Buffalo cops in with clubs and guns WITHOUT HIS HELMET ON.
It should be pretty damn easy to determine if the helmet he was carrying in his left hand as he was mysteriously waving his smart phone with his right was the one he tweeted about wearing to protect himself from COVID and "getting pummeled" or if somehow a BPD cop lost it.
Time has taught me to wait for the entire record to be fleshed out and NOT to reflexively rely on video clips that can be interpreted more than one way. MSM, however, always wants you to rush to judgment of whoever their enemy of the moment is, and today it's the police. Don't
play the game.

FINALLY: For all you people who are posting pictures of #MartinGugino along with tubes and containers of fake blood, FGS STAHP. A ruse like that would be uncovered within minutes. Don't be a bigger idiot than you are already. #TheTruthIsDamningEnough. /END 🛑
BTW, still waiting for an answer from @CalebJHull.
