This group is paused at DeKalb and Skillman, with two group leaders trying to get control of the crowd. Each of them accused the other of being an #NYPD plant. One is the man who said he was Ace Burns earlier.
One leader wants to cross the bridges into Manhattan, with “no cops no cameras.” The other, the one who said he is Burns, is trying to head to McCarren Park or Grand Army Plaza.
Burns said he just got out of jail for terrorism charges and wants to go the parks and protest peacefully. “Bridges are traps!” some protesters yell in agreement with him.
Burns came back through, calling for protesters to go home. A chunk of the crowd is still standing in the intersection, with some starting to move off in opposite directions now.
This protester is stressing one aspect of the #FTP movement in particular - free the people. “We are not free in this country until every single f—king officer bends down on one knee in solidarity.”
