Nigeria confirmed its first case on Feb 27, 2020.

The FCT recorded its first 3 cases on March 20, 2020.

10,803 tests carried out in the FCT with 986 confirmed cases as at June 8th. Details below #COVID19FCT

CONFIRMED CASES:

Abuja Municipal: 774
Abaji: 22
Bwari: 50
Gwagwalada: 23
Kwali: 16
Kuje: 31

TOTAL: 916
Between June 1st to June 7th, here is the distribution of #COVID19FCT cases by Area Council.

Total Samples collected and number of confirmed cases as shown below:
There are 7 #COVID19FCT Isolation Centres in the FCT with 995 bed spaces, namely:

- UniAbuja Teaching Hospital
- Asokoro General Hospital
- Karu General Hospital
- National Hospital
- Idu Centre
- Capital Club DSS Clinic
- UN Clinic (with additional 37 beds).

In order to better manage cases of infection the FCTA will work closely with the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital @UATHospital to expand the capacity of the current Isolation and treatment Center to accommodate more patients by providing the essential facilities. #COVID19FCT
