And yes, we are headed for disaster. Everywhere I look, everyone is just done modifying their lives & is like "if I get it, I get it." We saw what happened in Wuhan, Italy, and Tehran. That level of death & disruption is coming to every city in America, it seems. And we're all 🤷♂️
People have quit with the masks, they're crowding into restaurants and bars... churches have reopened, and everything is headed right back to the pre-COVID status quo in every respect. It's mass delusion. We're dealing with a force of nature. You can't just news-cycle it away.
Here in TX, all summer camps are back on (they're indoors a lot b/c of the heat). Everything's totally back open next week. In CA in LA County, where cases are rising, they're opening all the way up.

More people in my network are either testing positive or getting symptoms, just this week. It's everywhere, now. We aren't even trying. It's so depressing to see that other societies can handle this like grownups and we just can't.
