A lot of the money average Nigerians make goes to fixing structural problems. It takes them a while to finally get to spending money for joy and happiness.
Quite often, it's too late by then, so they focus on giving their children the lives they couldn't have.
People travel to rest because quietness, order, service, efficiency, kindness and trust are not native to Nigeria. You don't know how much the absence of these things injures the mind and body.
You can never compare N1m spent on a vacation in Nigeria with N1m spent abroad. You cannot compare buying a $1m home in Nigeria with buying a $1m home abroad. There is just no basis for honest comparison.
Fixing structural problems in Nigeria requires fixing the politics of Nigeria. I don't have the road map. I'm not that wise. But I'm hoping to work with those who have the road map, in my lifetime.
Till then, so I don't die of heartbreak and frustration, I have chosen to focus my resources on the humans in Nigeria. Let me focus on Nigerians till someone has a practical plan to rescue Nigeria.
