(1) @Reuters US #COVID19 Status At a Glance:
(2) The Northeastern United States is largely doing well. Maine and New Hampshire are slightly behind the others, but do have good downward trends.
(3) The Midwest is a combination of States doing Well and other States doing So-So.

All the are below their prior apexes, and none of them seem to be in major distress.
(4) The Southern and near Southwestern States have many signs of major trouble.

AR, TN, NC, SC, OK, MS, AL, GA, TX and FL are rising fairly fast past their prior apexes.

Other states are struggling to recover, but their in much better shape than that Southern Top Ten.
(5) The Rocky Mountain & West Coast States have their share of trouble also.

AZ, CA, NV & AK are rising at good clips past their prior apexes. AK has very low total counts so it's less of a concern. AZ & CA seem to be headed for major emergencies.

NM and OR deserve watching.
(6) As I've mentioned many times, the death rates can be several weeks behind the Confirmed Cases due to disease progression periods and reporting delays. Still more deaths is bad.

Arkansas, Nebraska, Tennessee and Utah are at new apexes and rising. Other states are close.
(7) Hospitalizations are down in New England, the Mid Atlantic and the Midwest.

They are rising in the South and Southwest and hold fairly steady in the West.
(8) The problem groups are definitely in the South and Southwest.

Confirmed Cases are up substantially.

Hospital utilization is rising, and dynamics predict the Daily Deaths are just two or three weeks behind.
(9) The talk of the day has been Arizona, but the @nytimes Hot Spot map clearly shows more heat in the South and Southwest.

MIssissippi seems to have a sea of blue at its center, but other than that the South and Near Southwest are in trouble.
(10) You name it: All of N Carolina, Myrtle Beach, Valdosta, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Miami, Mobile, Montgomery, Biloxi, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Beaumont, Houston, Little Rock, Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Memphis, Nashville, Tulsa, Ok City ....
(11) The national totals look like they are reaching an inflection point. Daily Case counts are no longer declining; they are about to start rising again.

Declines in the Northeast can no longer offset the rising tides in TX, CA, FL, AZ, NC, TN, GA and AL.
