I saw this yesterday and tried to dig around, but Saudi justice systems are pretty dark. If anyone can identify teh names of these 28 people I'd love to hear it.

I suspect it is connected to this but can't cross reference names as there are still none....
But it is connected to a company that is "one of the companies in which the government invests part of its capital" so it's connected to a sovereign wealth fund.

I don't know the Saudi structures well so someone with more knowledge might be able to recognize these clues better. The chairman of the board of the investment company & members of another company he secretly invested 10% in to control it. A company worth SR200 million...
The only sovereign wealth fund that I am aware of in Saudi Arabia is the Public Investment Fund, which is a huge player. So is this leaders at PIF being implicated? Or just a company that the PIF invests in? The later is big, the former would be huge.

The fund previously was listed as having about $320B in assets it manages, but has made some very interesting trades recently. The PIF was created in 1971 & has been a major investment tool of the kingdom. Which likely connects it to all of the Swamps...
In 2014-15 Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman wrested control of the PIF & appointed a new board of directors with him at the head of it.
I know this is out of date, but PIF was supposed to absorb the kingdom's share of Saudi Aramco moving toward selli 5% of it in public trading. It was estimated that this would push the fund over $2T in assets.
During Trump's first foreign visit as President, he went to Saudi Arabia to cement his alliance with MBS, who promised PIF investments into the US & some arms deals... Were these the same arms deals the State OIG was fired for investigating that were outside his authority?
Is PIF running stings to expose the Swampy investment deals tor are they participating in them? A month ago they announced purchases of stakes in Boeing, Facebook, Citigroup, Disney, Bank of America, BP & Berkshire Hathaway.

Without knowing the names of the executives & companies that got busted, it is hard to tell how high up this corruption was. But I look forward to finding out more as the news trickles out!
