Linkedin is the largest professional networking site in the world. It is the most valuable asset to access professional and career networks for self advancement. Recently i met a lady who gets all her consulting clients on Linkedin, her minimum consulting fee is 600k.
You can also use the platform for business growth. In 2019 alone, LinkedIn had 645 million accounts, and 40% of those users actually logged on every single day. With over 30 million companies now active on the platform, there were over 20 million open job postings in 2019 alone
How do you start out using Linkedin to your advantage
1. PROFILE BRANDING: Not like other SM platforms, Linkedin allows you sell yourself. You must use a professional profile photo and remove any unprofessional extra curricula activities. You can check other profile for ideas

2. CONNECT WITH RIGHT PEOPLE: Start by connecting with existing professional&personal contacts in the industry you are working in, or want to move into. When you are on the job hunt,find companies you want to work for,follow their accounts so you can stay aware of their openings.
3.CREATE CONTENTS: Out of the 645 million LinkedIn accounts, less than .5% are actually contributing new content. Linkedin becomes a goldmine for sharing contents because of low competition. About half of linkedin account holders logon everyday, so you have the audience.
4. ENGAGE INTELLIGENTLY: Make sure you are visible by making intelligent comments on post of people in your industry or people who are generally popular with huge traction.This way other people can be attracted to you and anyone could make you an offer.This also works on Twitter
