Before Safoora rose to fame by delivering speeches calling for a ‘bloody revolution’ inciting violence that fuelled her popularity amongst India’s radical anarchists.She was notoriously known for being involved in the harassment of a Muslim activist Seema Aiman Rizvi.
In an FIR registered by Rizvi with the Delhi Police.Rizivi, named Safoora Zargar, Aysha Ansari, Saiful Islam, Salim Umar, Mohammad Gaffar Khan,Abu Darda Khan & Entemaam as her assailants. As per the FIR,Rizivi was locked in a room, harassed and beaten by the Safoora et al. 3/10
Ironically, contrary to her prayer in the court &her concern for her unborn child. As per Rizvi’s FIR to Delhi Police. Mother-to-be Safoora Zargar threatened Seema Rizvi that she would “do things to her (Rizvi’s)10-year-old daughter” & even threatened to get her kidnapped. 4/10
In the debate concerning her bail on humanitarian grounds. Safoora was leading protests in various parts of North East Delhi. She is accused by the Delhi Police for instigating riots and of being a key conspirator in the communal violence that left over 50 dead in Delhi. 5/10

While the case against Safoora will continue and justice for the 50+ people killed in riots will be fought for in a court room. By agreeing to the grant to bail to Safoora Zargar at this juncture, Delhi Police has yet again demonstrated that it is truly #DilkiPolice 8/10
Bail, in no sense is an acquittal and since Safoora has been largely seen as a delinquent with prior criminal records. With conditions, Safoora has been delivered a bail by the court to care for herself and her unborn child. A privilege under a robust democratic system. 9/10
