1) Rajiv Gandhi Foundation directly received money from Embassy of China
2) Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies DIRECTLY received money from Government of China.

2) Congress signs MoU with Chinese Communist party
3) RGF asks for FTA with China
4) Trade deficit with China multiplies 33 times in 2004-14.
5) Rahul secretly meets Chinese envoys etc

Historians would later marvel at how India came out 'alive' after the Sonia Gandhi era of 2004-14.

Imagine this perfidy. People donate their hard earned money to PMNRF to help people in distress.

Same money is then siphoned-off to Sonia Gandhi led Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. 1/3
2004-14 Sonia Gandhi era, and more specifically 2004-09 period is the darkest period in Independent India's history.

There is one subtle difference between 2004-09 & 2009-14: in the former period the LEFT PARTIES WERE PARTNERS WITH UPA, and party to every crime committed. 2/3
In 2004-09 period:
1) Nepal was lost to Communists
2) India was attacked by Pak terrorists every month!
3) Lakhs of crores were looted in multiple scams
4) Service Chiefs were corrupted
5) PMNRF was looted
6) RGF was bribed by China

We are still paying for these crimes. 3/3

Shyam Saran has written a long apologia on Manmohan Singh's proposal to hand-over the Siachen Glacier and his own role in it. His argument is that don't judge it with hindsight because "In the context of the then state of relations this was an initiative deemed worthwhile." 1/3
Here is 'then state of relations" with Pakistan that Shyam Saran thinks was good enough to hand over Siachen.

July 2005: Ram Janambhoomi Terror attack
October 2005: Diwali terror attack, Delhi
March 2006: Varanasi Temple terrorist attack
July 2006: Mumbai train terror attack 2/3
Shyam Saran was FS between 2004-2006. During this period Pakistani terrorists was murdering Indians across the country. Yet, Mr. Saran argues it was good time to truts Pakistan and hand over Siachen. Apparently Dr. Manmohan Singh also agreed (before Army torpedoed the plan). 3/3

#PMCARES, a fund set up specifically to cater to public health emergencies like #COVID19, has started making a difference, like all PM Modi initiatives, in the real world.

Several questions were initially raised by usual lobby of "oppose anything new and good". Some facts. 1/10
Q) Why separate fund when PMNRF already existed?

A) PMNRF usage evolved into primarily helping individuals/families in distress due to natural calamity etc. No provision in PMNRF to handle in an organised way situations like that posed by #COVID19.

#PMCARES plugs that gap.2/10
Q) How exactly is #PMCARES different from PMNRF?

A) PM CARES supports relief or assistance to a public health emergency by upgradation of healthcare or pharmaceutical facilities, other infrastructure, funding relevant research etc.

These are not covered under PMNRF. 3/10
