At today's sentencing hearing, his victim was provided a chance to read a statement via telephone conference. The man lives in the Czech Republic and is now a husband and father.

It has been many years since the victim was transported for sex and assaulted.
But over roughly four minutes, he read from a statement, saying that it has been a "long journey" and that his health is still bad from dealing with the stress related to his abuse at Nader's hands.

“My health is bad, I have ulcers. I stopped eating. I had nightmares. I am still dealing with those now.”
He “hated himself” and was "ashamed" he said & since the birth of his son, even now, he looks at him and worries that someone could do to his child what Nader did to him.

Nader agreed to pay his victim $150K for restitution, an amount which the man said was less than what he asked but "would help solve some of the problems" he continues to face
Judge Leonia Brinkema also slapped a $25k fine on Nader today in addition to the jail time and restitution.
Nader has been in prison since his arrest and when given an opportunity to provide his own statement, he emphasized how difficult the last year has been. He has been separated from his family, he said, with his sister in Lebanon and his brother in California.
"I've listened to what's been said about me and I can say I am deeply sorry for all the pain I caused," George Nader told the court before he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for transporting a minor for sex and possessing child porn.
Nader also said today: "Please believe me when I say there will never be a need for me to appear before another court ever again."

STORY UPDATED. Prosecutors called Nader a "persistent and dangerous voyeur."
