Pod save crew: “A lot of voters really liked Bernie Sanders, really liked Elizabeth Warren, really liked Kamala Harris.”

Only one of those people won a single state. The candidates had wildly different appeal among actual voters. But the show refuses to acknowledge that.
How does the party expect to learn any coherent lessons from 2020 if they continue to misrepresent what actually happened? Why not try to parse why Warren’s pitch didn’t translate to voters? We should be learning/growing from that. Denial helps no one, including the next Warren.
There’s also no mention of policy. None. With the exception of mentioning that Mondaire Jones ran on court expansion.

The only analysis is an extremely shallow assessment of identity (from an all white cohort).
Thinking about how they did an episode on “Bernie bros” and had two white Bernie staffers on instead of asking @ninaturner, @ReneDontPlay, @Analilia_Mejia, @iPhilSomething, @KillerMike, @CornelWest, @belensisaw or myself.
On Chuck Schumer facing a primary challenge: he took the SAT twice and got two perfect scores so he’s going to hustle and not get caught off guard like Engle.
