@RealScottRitter I have been looking at one of my father's keepsakes from WWII--a Military Intelligence manual about how to recognize the armored vehicles of other countries. The Russophobe crowd might want to check it out. It was printed June 1941. The interesting ones are:
@RealScottRitter Armored Cars--BA BronnieFord Number 7. This armored car had a Ford motor, according to its specifications in the manual. It was built at the Gorki, Russia FORD MOTOR PLANT, built in the 1930s.
@RealScottRitter Another BronnieFord armored car built at Gorki on all US technology in the FORD MOTOR plant was the 3 axle, 6 wheeled unit with a revolving machine gun turret. Another FORD engine.
@RealScottRitter The FORD AMPHIBIAN armored car, six wheels and shaped a little like a PT-Boat up top, is another Ford product from the Gorki plant.

We haven't even gotten to tanks yet. The chassis of Russian tanks were originally designed by WALTER CHRISTIE, an American inventor.
@RealScottRitter The Russians built a light tank in 1927, the T-27. Chevrolet built some of the engines; Ford built some of the others. The British arms firm, VICKERS had a hand in building another light tank for Russia, the T-37, which used a Meadows VI, or Ford V engine. Another British...
@RealScottRitter firm, Carden-Lloyd was also involved with light tank manufacturing in Russia just prior to WWII, not that US and West European firms didn't keep right on arming Russia AFTER WWII, because they did.
@RealScottRitter Wikipedia notes about Carden-Lloyd. They would sell these light amphibious tanks directly, but helped Russia with the ability to manufacture their own inside Russia, like Ford at Gorki, Russia.

@RealScottRitter Armstrong-Siddeley Motors in UK helps produce engines for Russian tanks--Apparently, Armstrong-Siddeley, manufacturers of luxury cars in the UK, let the Russians make exact copies of their engines for their T-26 tanks, which VICKERS also helped the Russians to produce.
@RealScottRitter As noted before, Walter Christie, an American inventor, was funded by General George S. Patton to design a new tank chassis. That became the Christie chassis. When the US Army turned Christie and Patton down, the Russians bought a license to produce the chassis for the T-34,...
@RealScottRitter ...the legendary Russian tank of WWII. The T-34, after the Germans seized Ukraine, was built at the Volgograd Tractor plant in Stalingrad. That plant was built entirely with US technology, with US engineers designing and building the plant. The plant was prefab and set...
@RealScottRitter ...on a concrete pad in Stalingrad. Americans trained the Russians in running and maintaining the plant.
@RealScottRitter T-34 tanks, and its successor models, the T-44, were used to kill our troops in Korea. I'm sure they killed more than the Taliban has managed to kill, whether they collected a bounty or not. Those tanks were built on US Technology. No one gets exercised about that.
@RealScottRitter We built the largest steel plant in the world up to the time the plant was built in Russia by the United States' McKee Corporation. A lot of steel is used to make armor plate, artillery pieces, rifle barrels, etc., etc., used to kill our own men in Korea and Vietnam.
@RealScottRitter We put the ability to mass refine nitrogen in the hands of the Russians as soon as FDR opened the place up for "trade." The US Nitrogen Engineering Corporation and Dupont led the way in building such refineries IN RUSSIA that still operate today. These plants produce the...
@RealScottRitter ...propellants for rifle, machine gun, and other small arms ammunition, along with high explosives for grenades, bombs, and artillery shells that were sent to North Korea and North Vietnam to kill our own troops.

No one gets exercised about that, either.
@RealScottRitter We fulminate about an unconfirmed "intelligence" report leaked to the NY Times about the Taliban allegedly getting paid bounty to kill our troops in Afghanistan.

We'll hear crickets about our own government arming those same Russians by actually BUILDING THE RUSSIAN..
@RealScottRitter ...MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX which we spend trillions to "defend ourselves" against for decades, and which supplied proxy nations with the weapons to KILL OUR OWN MEN IN KOREA AND VIETNAM.

These are not anonymous, unconfirmed reports in the NY Times. They are REALITY.
