You have to understand something: China don’t care. They do whatever they want. They are keeping more than 1 million of muslims in « education camps » for years, without any international consequences. The balance of power is on their side, at least for now.
The world needs them and they know it. #Covid19 and the lack of mask almost everywhere in the world was another illustration of our dependency to China. Is it a good thing? Sure no. Can we do it differently? Probably yes but it will take years (decades?).
Thanks to Trump and #Covid19, the situation is even worst. China used this crisis to destabilize a little bit the power of balance where they need it. And it will continue. We are in the game and we are (force) to play together.
