Republicans in DC know exactly what we know: 16 Electoral Votes, TWO Senate seats, CD-6, CD-7 and control of the Georgia House are in play.

Fair Fight founder @staceyabrams, @ossoff and @ReverendWarnock held a virtual press conference today to discuss the latest. #gapol
This weekend, Trump launched a $457,000 advertising blitz in 5 markets throughout Georgia. His failed leadership on COVID/economy and the toxic GOP brand in a changed Georgia has put him on the ropes here.
Republicans are scared of the strong Democratic efforts being waged at all levels in Georgia. Don't take our word for it -- @BrianKempGA, Speaker David Ralston, and @sendavidperdue have stated that GA is in play. DC Republicans express "increasing worry."
All public polling shows that Georgia is up for grabs. PPP has Biden +4, Fox News has Biden +2, Civiqs/Daily Kos has Biden +1. Notably, state GOP factions have released multiple, bad INTERNAL polls showing they are in trouble. A smoke signal to DC for $$. nationaljournal.com/s/707865?unloc…
750,000+ Georgians who were not eligible to vote for Abrams in 2018 are eligible to vote for the Dem ticket in 2020. Who are the new voters? Ds. 49% are people of color, 45% are under 30. Every day, 1,250 Georgians register to vote for the first time. nytimes.com/2020/06/09/us/…
Democratic enthusiasm in GA is palpable. Georgia Ds are marching from the streets to the ballot boxes, crushing all-time primary turnout record (2008, with @BarackObama on the ballot). 61% more Dems showed up for 6/9 primary than did on Super Tues in 2016. ajc.com/blog/politics/…
In 2002, the Georgia electorate was less than 1/4 people of color. Now, more than 4 in 10 voters are people of color, and Gerogia Republicans are out of touch. As @sendavidperdue said, the demographics clearly work against Republicans.
Georgia's suburbs are diverse, growing, and changing. Counties lost by Dems in 2012 are now solidly in the Democratic column. In the suburban Metro districts of CD-6 and CD-7, Dems lost by 20+ points in 2016. They are poised to win both seats in 2020.
Georgia has, by far, the largest share of Black voters of any battleground, at 33 percent. The next state, North Carolina, comes in at 23 percent. Overcoming voter suppression, Black voter turnout was high in the 6/9 primary, with 96% of Black Georgia voters casting Dem ballots.
All of this adds up to a very simple truth:

Georgia has changed. Georgia Democrats are energized. And Georgia Republicans are out of touch.

Georgia is not *a* battleground state, Georgia is THE battleground state. (End) ajc.com/news/state--re…
