We believe in family values here at Family Friendly TTRPGs.

And we have an important #DMsGuild product announcement coming soon.

But first, we believe that family values include the importance of educating ourselves. Today, we study art history.
On June 22, 2020, a #DMsGuild designer published an self-proclaimedly gay #DnD supplement with leather daddy vampires.

It was not family friendly.

And so, on June 25, the designer was asked to remove some of his art on grounds of it being not family friendly. Which all TTRPG supplements should always be.

After some negotiation, the two parties thought they had it worked out.

The designer released an update on June 29, in which they censored the art... while adding provocative commentary to accompany it.

It was summarily removed from the Guild.

Clearly, this supplement stands against everything the Guild is designed for. Supplements must uphold the highest of moral standards, such as these shining beacons of family friendliness.

The misguided Guild designer should've stuck with sanctioned family friendly Wizards of the Coast artwork from previous books, all of which is recommended and free for use.

He should've focused his writing on sanctioned creatures, rather than fantasizing about gay leather vampire daddies.

For example, the paeliryon is a shining beacon of LGBTQ+ representation in D&D.

The DMsGuild initially issued a statement defending their decision to remove this not-family-friendly supplement from their platform.

After outcry from left-wing Antifa provocateurs, we at Family Friendly TTRPGs were concerned the DMsGuild would abandon traditional values. Thankfully, they stood firm, releasing an updated statement in support of additional censorship down the road.

And so, we and our loved ones can all sleep tonight, knowing that family values will continue unchecked at the DMsGuild.

And, to fill your dreams with anticipation, we're proud to announce -- well, we won't announce it quite yet.
But be glad and rejoice that soon, very soon, Family Friendly TTRPGs will make its own contribution to the family of upstanding moral supplements at the #DMsGuild.

Stay tuned.
History ever marches on, and so does the saga of the DMsGuild and its family friendly standards.

And so, we update our history thread:
