Corrected missed salary step. All employees saw an increase in salary to start the new academic year in 2019, a correction of a previously skipped scheduled increase. #YearOfTheCardinal
Improved the @MineralAreaCC diversity statement to include and protect our friends of the LGBT community to include “sexual orientation and gender identity”. #YearOfTheCardinal 🌈
Established the "@MineralAreaCC Champion of Excellence” Award, a peer to peer award to recognize outstanding work. #YearOfTheCardinal #Recognition
@MineralAreaCC Men’s Cross Country (@MACRunningCards) won the first @NJCAA national championship for MAC. #YearOfTheCardinal
Added @MineralAreaCC Men’s and Women’s Soccer program and hired @DanMartin12 as coach. We are excited to see the teams on the pitch in 2020! #YearOfTheCardinal
St. Francois County Commission was approved for the Community Development Block Grant to support technical education expansion at @MineralAreaCC. #YearOfTheCardinal
Held the first @MineralAreaCC Foundation Trivia Night, the biggest this region has ever seen, raising over $15,000 for students at MAC. #YearOfTheCardinal
Improved communication and transparency by sharing @MineralAreaCC cabinet minutes, regular updates from the president’s office, weekly town hall meetings during the pandemic, and transparency on financial challenges and decisions facing the college. #YearOfTheCardinal
Created the first ever @MineralAreaCC virtual commencement to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates when we could not meet in person due to the pandemic. #YearOfTheCardinal
Established the @MineralAreaCC Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship to support students of color and victims of racial injustice. #YearOfTheCardinal
.@MineralAreaCC @MACmbball completes an amazing 30-2 season, but we are even more proud of their accomplishments off the court with a team GPA of 3.2. #YearOfTheCardinal
.@MineralAreaCC General Services team stepped up to add much needed color and school spirit to campus and beautify landscaping. #YearOfTheCardinal

As I conclude my first year as president of @MineralAreaCC, a year like no other, I can confidently say MAC is a great place and my family and I are truly blessed to be a part of the MAC Family. We still have a lot of greatness to get done, #LetsGo! #YourCommunityCollege #POMAC
