#Ekadashi means Eleven. It is the 11th Tithi in a hindu calendar. Ekadashi occurs 2 times once in waxing phase shukla paksha and once in waning phase Krishna paksha of the moon. Lord Vishnu goes to a long sleep in the Ksheer Sagar (milky ocean) on this day I.e into Yoga Nidra
1day for Devaloka is equal to 12 months of Human time span. 6months is considered half a day for Gods. Maha vishnu sleeps and wakes up on the Vaikunta Ekadashi of Margasheersha (December) I.e end of 6months.
This day, a huge yatra or religious procession of pilgrims known as Pandharpur Ashadi Ekadasi Waari Yatra culminates at Pandharpur, in Solapur district in south Maharashtra, situated on the banks of the Chandrabhaga River.
Vrat Katha : A pious king Madanta's country hd faced drought for 3 years, but the king was unable to find a solution to please the varun dev. Maharshi Angiras advised king to observe the vrata of Dev-shayani ekadashi. On doing so by grace of Vishnu, thre ws rain in the kingdom.
On the Ekadashi it is said that on ekadashi the 5 gnyanendriyas, 5 karmendriyas and manas are aligned in one direction called as EKONMUKHA. Chandra is said to be called as one which rules our Manas the anter indriya. Moon is said to be born of heart of purushotam.
Chandra is 1 which rules our Manas the Antar indriya. Moon is said to be born 4m heart of Purushotam. As per chandra kala moon is said to influence the moods of human by influencing the manas. On ekadashi sun, moon and Bhoomi r straight in alignment & is very imp for sadhanas.

Don't sit on BED

Don't look at the grahan with naked eyes. It's not preferable to see certain things. Don't do it. That's it, for our good.
Food we have prepared can not be used if we haven't placed dried dhruva/ kusha or dhoop grass. Even in water it needs to be placed. This is to avoid the sutak. Milk ,curd doesn't have sutak. Rest dry food items dont have. It is with water food is made pls discard

They say menstruating is not something unnatural, untouchable so treat them with equality.

I will say NO don't fight for Equality coz men don't menstruate.
Women during menstruation in ancient times were given a special place in home to
1. Rest frm natural chores
2. Have your own world of relaxation
3. Give a man opportunity to take th responsibilities
4. Stay healthy and restful by being at a place
5. Eat well and sleep peacefully
Menstruating women did not touch God due to Tamasic and Rajasic energies which release from body. Though it didn't limit our soul and vaak to stop Namaparayana or sing hail the lord's name. Remember we take a word " MAA / AMMA" during pain. The ultimate Maa is the goddess.

The word Upanayan consists of two words, ‘upa’ & ‘nayana’. ‘Upa’ means near also ‘nayana’ means to taking towards. Upanayan means taking one towards the Guru tatva.

Nayan also means ‘the eye’. Upanayan thus means the inner vision (antahachakshu). Therefore, the ritual which facilitates the development of inner vision is called Upanayan.
The gurus with whom we get linked for life long are Surya Bhagwan and Gayatri Devi. This process is to initiate the individual's journey towards development through understanding the Sanatana Dharma very closely.
