@Shopify support multiple environments like production stages etc. In the frontend you could take a backup of your live theme & work on the new theme. At the backend –shopify allows you to integrate public & private apps. Only when you push it live, does the functionality work

If you are an early stage startup & are evaluating the best subscription plan, check the options available under different plans. While the shop front looks the same in all the plans it’s the backend that offers different functionalities. Start with the basic & then upgrade

If you are looking for pincode based order mapping - Check the app – advanceCOD for India: with this app you can manage your pincodes for COD transactions @shopify #d2cinsider #cheatsheet

In case you are wondering if @Shopify shopify functions as multichannel solution, integrating Vinculum and unicommerce can help. They also do reconciliation for payments for all orders and help save money. Amazon and shopify has open APIs and you can do custom integrations.

If you are thing of customizing the checkout in two steps instead of three, it can be done but not recommended by @shopify as it affects the system stability. If you are on shopify plus plan then you can but without any support from #shopify team. #d2cinsider #cheatsheet

If subscription is on your mind, remember subscription is linked to payment options, so talk to the payment provider and get a go ahead from them basis guidelines from RBI & other government authorities
