How to Win #SFBX: The Recap

Bookmark/follow along this thread and use it as your one-stop shop heading into Draft Day tomorrow! After studying #SFBX scores dating back to 2010, the following profiles are best suited to outperform the rest 🤓⬇️⬇️
QUARTERBACKS
When looking to snag a QB, be thinking of those that fit this profile:

*4500 pass yards
*35 attempts/game
*30+ TD
*10+ team wins

IF you’re focusing on a rushing QB, make sure they are capable of 10+ rush TD or 30+ pass TD in addition to the rush yards.. (pic #2)
RUNNING BACKS
There isn’t 1 “mold” to be a quality #SFBX RB. There are 3 different ways to return value & set yourself up for success! Ask yourself:

*True Workhorse (1500 total yards)?
*If <40 targets, 250+ carries?
*Upside RB: if 70+ targets, will they ALSO get 90+ carries?
WIDE RECEIVERS
Once again, the true value of WRs comes via their depth~

aDOT < 10 yards:
*Can they earn 80+ targets to be startable at all?
*130+ tgts = WR2
*150+ tgts = WR1

aDOT > 10 yards:
*Can they earn 60+ targets to be startable at all?
*90+ tgts = WR2
*110+ tgts = WR1
TIGHT ENDS
Tight end is tricky given their PPR premiums. If you don’t grab one quick you may do yourself a disservice, but if you take the gamble and wait:

*Look for teams who utilize TE for first downs
*The drop from TE3 to TE7 is the same as the drop from TE7 to TE20
Once you have those profiles drilled into your head, it’s important to think about what positions to value most.

Keep these tables in mind— based on finishes over the past 5 seasons, here is the average cost of passing on a player finishing within this tier (since 2015)
As you can see, QB, RB, & TE are far more costly to forsake in early rounds than WR. While TE finishes can be anywhere, QB and RB are usually fairly predictable at the top, so this is where I’d suggest targeting for your first 3 picks at least. You need 3+ quality QB options...
But that doesn’t mean to neglect WR, either (kudos again @ScottFish24 for this balanced layout). Their value is in their depth!! I’ve laid out some WR values I love in this scoring in the 4-8th rounds, and I’d suggest loading up as much as possible here if the board allows
As someone picking from 1.02, I’m inclined to go either QB/2 RB to start or 2 QB/RB and fill out my roster after that (late round TE ftw)

If I’m picking near 1.10, there is serious value to be had in a TE-RB-QB start. In all honesty, I’m kind of upset I requested 1.02 now...😆
At the end of the day, this is 100% a super fun, positivity-centered league based around one GREAT cause: #FantasyCares

If you have the means to do so in this economic climate, I’d highly recommend aiding in Scott’s cause for the kids

I hope y’all were able to learn something heading into the draft tomorrow, & I wish everyone good luck! I’ll be sure to post my roster when it’s done (and find out how many people in the Mouse Trap division read this/stole my strategy 😝)
