Their efforts to turn the Tamil visual media into a BJP mouthpiece similar to that of Republic TV has hit the wall. Angry BJP tried boycotting news channels, intimidate journalists & threaten channel managements but nothing worked. 7/n
This is the reason why, they are using their mercenary Maridass, a youtuber to do the dirty job on their behalf. The YouTube videos of Maridass is being actively promoted by almost all BJP leaders in TN and their affiliates. 8/n
The intention of this tirade is to demoralize the journalists and ensure that they either toe their line or throw the towel. And their intention is evident with the personal attacks mounted on such journalists. 9/n
The right wing has hit a new low by targeting Journalists based on their religion, caste and their family members are also not being spared by these mercenaries.
This sort of trickery and deceit has all the hallmarks of the right wing tactics. 10/n

All those who believe in democracy and freedom of speech and expression should come forward to condemn this attitude in unambiguous terms. This attitude needs to be nipped in the bud.
