The recruitment exercise by the Board of Ekiti State Security Network (Amotekun Corps) will commence on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. Image
Ekiti residents, from the ages of 18 to 60, with a minimum education of Primary School Leaving Certificate, should visit the website amotekun.ekitistate.gov.ng to download and fill the registration form and submit online at no cost.
Applicants are also advised to print their registration forms for record purposes.

Registration closes on July 28, 2020.

REVIEWED EKITI STATE DIRECTIVES ON #COVID19

Commencing from June 1, 2020, Ekiti people will now be able to go about their daily activities from Monday to Friday, 6am to 8pm in the evening.

The dusk to dawn curfew will daily resume at 8pm till 5: 59 am of the following morning.
Ekiti State public officers on Grade Level 8 and above are to resume for duty from June 1, 2020, while those on Level 7 and below are to remain at home for now.
Existing restrictions on human and vehicular movement would continue to be observed in accordance with existing regulations contained in the Ekiti State Coronavirus Disease (Prevention of Infection), Regulations 2020.

In response to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the oil price fiscal shock, the Ekiti State Executive Council has approved a 27% reduction in the 2020 Budget from N124,724,869,335.95 to N91,128,996,482.01.

Below are the highlights:
▪️N66,557,958,763 billion, representing 62% of the budget is for recurrent expenditure, while N34,571,037,719.01 billion, representing 38% is for capital expenditure.

▪️Retainment of Salaries and pensions at 100%.

▪️Reduction of the overheads for 2020 by 50%.
▪️Reduction of grants to parastatals by 20%.

▪️Reduction of all capital expenditure to regenerative projects.

▪️Provision of funding for only regenerative projects.

▪️Completion of ongoing projects.

▪️Retainment of projects with external funding.
