People get nervous when you discuss Islamic state funding on campus - - they should be more nervous that this is the true state of the UK university landscape.

Take the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at Exeter

Gifted to the university by Dictators in Gulf States

In the new institute they created a "European Centre for Palestinian Studies" with high profile anti-Israel activists Ilan Pappe and Ghada Karmi leading the way.

So now you have 'history' being taught under the umbrella of an Islamic centre- funded from the UAE.

They then create academic modules - for the students - and provide a reading list that chiefly contains names like Ilan Pappe, Rashid Khalidi, Edward Said..
All Israel-critical authors that distort the history.

This creates a conveyor belt - where new PhD candidates are continually created - immersed in this distorted story -who become journalists and authors - like Ramzy Baroud - who can now spread the word with all the legitimacy of a recognised academic

And students who share deeply antisemitic material can still be elected to lead the Student Union - because after all - many on the campus probably believe it is the truth...

There are countless - academics - produced from conveyor belts such as this - they become key names in anti-Israel activism around the world. Another easy example from Exeter is Yara Hawari - and with each passing year there are more.

And as academics themselves - they now teach the next generation.

So you may think it is okay that history & politics on UK universities are taught at centres funded by Islamic Gulf States - spreading anti-western, antisemitic hate to UK students.

But if you do - you are a fool
