On the "moderate" Labour Party Forum, someone posts the question:

"Why is Labour so heave on faux antisemitism but so light on real Islamophobia?"

Here are some of the answers:

"Faux anti-semitism is the work of non-socialists"

"all the stuff about antisemitism, It's just make-believe"

"I've never heard antisemitism from a single member of the Labour Party"

"since its inception Israelis vote to elect brutal, malevolent governments [...] and should be punished"

"The Labour Party has moved to appease the Zionist movement"

"The government of Israel seems to be influencing the actions of our Labour Party"

"The "anti semitism" row is a smoke-screen"

"agents[sic] of a foreign government, i.e. Israel have their Claws in the Labour Party"

"Because it [sic] beholden to groups like the BOD"

And finally, a slightly naive Jewish member of the group dares to pipe up, explaining that he's thankful that Labour are finally taking action against antisemitism & that he'd felt unsafe and unwelcome in the last few years.

Cue the interrogation:

"Are you an Ashkenazi Jew"?

Inquisitor 2: You felt unwelcome?

Jew: I joined at 14 but some years later felt increasing uncomfortable as young Jewish member

Inquisitor 2: I'm surprised. Some of my best friends are in the JVL.

Jew: I don't understand what Palestinians have to do me explaining my personal experiences?

Inquisitor 3: Israel / Palestine is topical at the moment

Inquisitor in Chief: I think you are a liar.
