(1) Hello – welcome to this edition of the coronavirus (COVID-19) roundup, a summary of our latest analysis related to the pandemic.

(2) we’ve published an analysis of deaths of homeless people involving COVID-19, as well as the latest indicators of the social impacts of lockdown. Some of the main points include:

• Up to 26 June 2020, 16 deaths involving COVID-19 have been identified as people who were homeless (all in England; none in Wales)

(4) .

• Most of the deaths were men (average age of 58 years); this is considerably lower than the average age of death of people involving COVID-19 in the general population, but higher than the average age of death of men who were homeless in 2018 (45 years)

• A quarter of adults say they were likely or very likely to go on holiday in the UK this summer, while 9% said they were likely or very likely to go on holiday abroad (survey carried out between 2 and 5 July 2020)

• With the easing of restrictions on eating out, 21% of adults said they would be comfortable or very comfortable to eat indoors at a restaurant (compared with 60% who said they would be uncomfortable or very uncomfortable)

• People aged 70 and older were the most cautious; 66% said they would be uncomfortable or very uncomfortable in eating indoors at a restaurant.
