This happened in West Bengal two days back. An 18 yr boy was having tremendous breathing problem.His mother ran frm hospital to hospital, for an entire day. Every hospital refused him. Finally, SSKM admitted him. Did testing.

It was found he is COVID - 19 positive.SSKM, then sent the family back,without any treatment. The mother desperately again stood in long lines for hours. 4 of the hospitals didn't even allow her to enter. All the child wanted was oxygen to breathe.

At the end of the day, the child died. Police took away the body, wrapped in a sack, dumped in a barren land, and burned it with acid.
Forget funeral the mother was not even allowed to see her child for the last time. She didn't have food the entire day,

This is matter of shame for Bengal as well as India. We must bang our heads for this. Yet, no one cares. This only exposes human insensitivity but also incompetence of the West Bengal Government!
@MamataOfficial, claim yourself mother next time instead of Didi to feel the pain!

The boy's name was Subrajit Chatterji. He lived in Ichapur district of north 24 paraganas.
And the hospitals that are involved in this entire matter were ESI Hospital ( Kamarthi), Midland Hospital (they first claimed that they didn't have beds), Sagar Dutta Hospital and more.
