I have said this before also, #AAP will win Delhi. Neither congress nor bjp will be able to replace it. I personally don't agree with AAP, but Delhi people have been made to feel that AAP is the alternative, even though it is not. However, political mirages don't get decoded easily
I wasn't interested in Delhi election because it is anyway the aap coming and congress won't be having a good performance. But felt the need to tweet this, as some us seem to be under certain mirages. Look, whatever it is, remember aap dosen't has a permanent legacy. It will fall
For parties to exist decades long, you need leadership, pan India support and long term strategies. Aap has neither. This election is not important for aap or congress to win or lose, but to observe whether bjp's performance has a marginal increase or not than 2015.
It dosen't matters at these juncture how regional parties perform. What matters is how many states bjp can survive and does it performances have an improvement or not.Because that, will indicate the direction our tryst with destiny will be going in long term. That's more important
I know I sound pessimistic, especially because it's the eve of election results and exit polls are coming out. However, my opinions don't alter by petty exit polls of Godi Media. Nobody, even in congress will admit it, but we all knew from within what's going to happen.Didn't we?
I am not going to mince my words and seek validation. But, again am saying, Congress will lose the delhi election, and obviously bjp won't have a chance, however, whether it's votes have marginal increase or decrease is debatable.
Troll me, but bjp is a bigger opponent than aap.
Also, the fact that there has been such a low turnout shows that, citizens have lost faith in all parties. This is a sad truth about our democracy. But again, as it is said, if you want people to respect the law you must make it respectable at first place (appropriate metaphor).
Not a fan of exit polls. But the fact that, godi media channels have now also started favoring aap, says a lot abt the wave & bjp's anyway attenuated confidence abt the election. Tukde tukde narratives have failed. Let's me put it more simpler, no one hates India except for Indians
More than anything I am sad to see such a less voter turnout. People have lost faith on all parties. And what a campaign environment this election had, Nirbhaya maneuver, Jamia attack, shoot outs, open threats, too much hate speeches. This pestilent hatred will not work.
Btw, some woke neoliberals must be thinking I am sounding pseudo anti congress. But that's not my intention.
I am just placing some realities clearly; mincing words&projecting overwhelmed optimism isn't my cup of tea.
I am not responsible, for the created version of me in ur mind
