Uber and Apple hacked. Starting to look like the sort of major vulnerability posited in the tweet below.
It's weird they started with smaller accounts then did juggernauts next, though.

Bezos hacked. People are sending a ton of money to this Bitcoin address. 
Biden hacked. Elon's account still not under control.
If these hackers have read/write privileges of every account on Twitter and use it to make like $200k in Bitcoin, they are the worst criminals of all time.
Obama, Biden, Warren Buffett, Bloomberg, Wiz Khalifa all hacked with directions to send Bitcoin to a single wallet.
I think we should all be prepared for this site going down for a few hours. This is really, really bad.
Probably the only safe thing you can do on Twitter right now is to temporarily deactivate your account.
For every verified account that's been hacked, there are thousands of smaller ones.
If somebody has a de facto master key for access to every account, nobody's safe.

Changing your password likely wouldn't matter here. These hackers have some sort of override, looks like. Doomsday scenario that has so far been used to only collect Bitcoin.
