Proactivity was never our strongest suit since we pretended to gain independence. However, we can no longer keep pretending all is well, or wait for a Messiah to come sort it out for us. For starters do we have policies for disaster response during COVID -19 ? @Ibrahimjohnny
We must now change gear & engage the Post Disaster Response during COVID-19 one, which calls for amongst other things the removal of our heads from the sand.

In dealing with any disaster, the overall imperative remains the same- to identify those at greatest risk, protect lives & the livelihoods of the most vulnerable. We must thus begin looking at certain policies issues in earnest. @Anon1KENYA @YussufMwinyi @Engnr_Karimi1
The starting point for disaster response is understanding the risk profile & identifying the hot spots, where our myriad of disaster hazards & the pandemic are likely converge. Especially Majengos, Mukuru or Mathares, for example. Especially during the current local winter.
A period in which many weather related complexities can align with the spread & wildfire distribution of the pandemic. A simple flu spread is a reminder of how fast these pandemic that is evolving daily, can infest, incubate & explode exponentially in Kenya.
