It's fair to say Energy (including electricity, related construction & other) is 10.6% of GDP but the claim is that O&G alone is 10.6% yet cited source clearly states it's 5.6% #ableg
War Room Fact #2 has more wiggle room: "The oil and gas sector directly and indirectly employed approximately 540,000 people across Canada in 2016

Most people will read that as 'over half a million people work in O&G', but direct jobs in Mining + O&G in 2016 were only 189,823, so O&G jobs alone were less than 1/3 the stated figure: www150.statcan.gc.ca/t1/tbl1/en/tv.…
The indirect jobs will still be there (more or less, likely more) if investment and hence jobs shift from fossil fuels to renewables. So statement isn't technically wrong & might be good advertising, but clever misrepresentation isn't what the War Room promised

You could be forgiven for thinking, based on this War Room tweet about their amended factoid, that O&G is 7.6% of GDP (all but electricity & construction) but you’d still be misled
