Totally scientific and rational.
My both parents were covid-19 positive before few days and now they have recovered.
Father had mild symptoms and mother was symptomatic. (1/n)
Quarantine them in a isolated room and give them oximeter along with thermometer.
Second step is keep record of temperature, pulse rate and oxygen level for thrice in a day. Write in notebook. (2/n)
Now, monitor temperature for two days. If it is above 100 F then get tested as soon as possible. (3/n)
Refer RT-PCR test over antigen rapid test for perfect results. (Municipal corporations & municipalities do both at free of cost in Gujarat.)
And in private lab, do C-reactionary protein (CRP) test to know infection level.
(4/n)
If CRP is above this then get admitted asap. Don’t waste time.
Another thing is: call and report to local authorities that person is +ve.
(5/n)
If place permits then one should try to sit in sunlight and at the place where good oxygen is available.
(6/n)
8th, if oxygen level goes below 95 and temperature stays above 100 F constantly for few days then admission to hospital is necessary.
(7/n)
In our case, only father was positive first but mother was detected later because we all got tested.
Mostly, asymptotic cases recover without any medicine but consult doctor. (8/n)
Rest should stay in quarantine for safety. (9/n)
If something unfortunate happens then you must use them rapidly. Will add more if more come in mind. (10/n)
