I am very confused about those who claim "birth-based" privilege for adhaytma. Do they mean to say that someone like Salil Tripathi or Anjana Chatterjee or Vikas Dubey has more rights to go to the inner temple sanctum than a Narayan Guru or Amma or Baba Ramdev? Don't get it.

This is a good thread though I don't ways agree with the Arya Samaj view point.
Birth and karma converge because birth is also result of karma.
But karma can also be altered via guru kripa; thus can birth. Similarly "high" birth via bad karma can fall.

Then what's the point of saying "Shudra can't enter, Brahmin can enter." Just say that only pujari can enter.
Yes, every temple has its Maryada. I respect that. Problem comes when one turns it into a normative rule applicable to all and make generic statements about who is a "Brahmin" or "shudra" based on birth.
