15 REASONS WHY YOU MUST AVOID JALABI ALFAS LIKE A PLAGUE

1. Allāh is nearer to you than your jugular vein: The underlying reason why people patronize Jalabi Alfas is the feeling that they are closer to Allāh since they have an established relationship with Him. This is not true.
Allāh refutes this assertion when He says:

"And when My servants ask thee (O Muhammad) concerning Me, indeed I'm near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.
See also: Q. 7:56, 17:57, 11:61, 50:16, 22:13 & 34:50
Therefore, if Allāh is at everyone's reach, isn't it preposterous that you rather embark on a journey to far away SOKOTO in search of something that's right inside your SOKOTO(trousers)? Such is a needless & fruitless journey.
The Prophet ﷺ said
"The closest posture a servant can be to his Lord is prostration". Had you not kept Allāh at a distance through your negligent and lackadaisical attitude to His worship, you would have realized how close He is to you!
2. Allāh is waiting eagerly for your supplications: Allāh states in emphatic terms that He is ever ready to accept the supplications of every Muslim. This means that every Muslim has the ears of Allāh at all times. The only barrier between you & acceptance of your Du'ā is you.
In Q.40:60 Allāh says:
"And your Lord said: Invoke Me, I shall answer your call. Verily, those who scorn my service, they will enter hell, DISGRACED
In a Hadīth reported by Abū Sa'īd al-Khudrī & Abū Hurayrah, the Prophet ﷺ said: "Allah descends to the lowest heaven after the first third of the night, calling on people to invoke Him for their needs." Yet, this is the time that most people seem to be deep in sleep!
So, rather than approach these fraudsters & babaláwos in disguise & get misled and swindled, why not wake up at nights and invoke your Lord at no cost? This window is opened to all believers all night. Allāh doesn't discriminate between His servants so long as they're obedient.
3. Routing of Du'aa to through an intermediary is not the way of the Muslims: One of the reasons why some of the earlier generations committed polytheism was their veneration of some saints to the level of using them as a means to reach Allāh. Allāh condemns such act in Q.39:3
Islām frowns at establishing some persons as middlemen through which Allāh can be reached. This is because in the verse quoted earlier, Allāh not only established His closeness to His servants, but He equally commanded them to invoke Him (directly) & not through an intermediary.
Moreover, the true state of īmān & Taqwā of anyone is known only to Allāh. Thus, no one can vouch for neither himself nor another when it comes to such matters. How then would anyone assume that those Alfas are more pious than him, & as such make them intermediaries to Allāh?
4. Your righteous deeds are your best Tawassul to Allāh: The Qur’ān and Sunnah teach us that one of our best tools for seeking Allah's favours is our (righteous) deeds. Righteous deeds are like investments & savings from where we can withdraw during times of distress & trials.
This is why Allāh admonishes the believers to be cautious of what they put forward for their morrow.
While making supplications to Allāh, it's permitted to use one's good deeds as tawassul. For instance, it is permissible to say: Yā Allāh, pave a way for me out of this predicament because of my steadfastness to Salaayt or my voluntary fasting, or my adherence to the Sunnah, etc.
Ibn Umar narrated that the Prophet ﷺ told them the story of 3 people who were trapped in a cave & each invoked Allāh with his good deed until they were saved. This shows that one can make withdrawals from his savings.of good deeds
Al-Akhtal At-Taghlabiy, an Umayyad poet wrote:
"Whenever you're in dire need of an investment, never can you find one that is as profitable as righteous deeds."
Remember the story of Prophet Yūnus? Allāh says concerning him

"Had he not been among those that glorify my exalted name, he would have remained in its belly till the day of resurrection.
Prophet Yūnus was in a dire strait, having been swallowed by a whale, he turned to Allāh for redemption & salvation. And although he was a Prophet, whose spiritual powers and closeness to Allāh are not in doubt, Allāh said: "Had he not been among those that glorify my name..."
Think about this: Yūnus a PROPHET & MESSENGER OF ALLĀH got saved only because he had a huge account of good deeds with Allāh; when was the last time you invested your time and money in a good cause? When was the last time you updated your account with Allāh?
How then do you wish to take a loan from a dormant & empty account? With an insufficient account balance, how do you wish to make withdrawals? The only impediment to your success is your lackadaisical attitude to, and negligence of righteous deeds. Let your account be up-to-date.
You don't need to approach anyone to help you submit your wishlist to Allāh. Improve your relationship with Allāh by increasing your good deeds. Boost your investment with Him, so that whenever you need a loan to salvage some exigent situations, you don't have to look far.
5. Never wait till you're in trouble: Most of those who approach these Alfas are those who do not remember Allāh until when they are in trouble. Thus, in their desperation to salvage the situation, they approach these fraudsters masquerading as spiritualists to help them proffer
quick solutions to their problems. However, rather than troubling yourself over nothing here is what the Sharī'ah asks you to do:
Dahhāk bn Qays said, "Remember Allāh in prosperity, & He will remember you during adversity. Indeed, Prophet Yūnus used to remember Allāh, & when he was swallowed by the whale, Allāh said
"Had he not been among those that glorify my exalted name, he would have remained in its belly till the day of resurrection."

Allāh also says:
"And when we bless man with our bounties, he turns away (from Us); but when We afflict him with calamities, he is most fervent in prayers"

It is this loophole that JALABIISTS exploit to extort the gullible Muslims. Rather than encourage you to get closer to Allah with righteous
deeds, they turn themselves into contractors and engineers working to fix your problems with Allāh. A sincere Alfa will never undertake to make Du'ā to Allāh on your behalf with or without any cash or material benefits. Rather, he would advise you to be steadfast and upright in
your adherence to the Qur’ān & Sunnah & guide you to the Prophetic supplications. As Muslims, it is recommended to remember our brethren in our supplications even without knowing them or their predicaments. The Prophet said:
"A Muslim's supplication for his brother behind the latter's back is accepted. The angel put in charge of his affairs would say: Āmīn, may you also receive same (goodness)"
Therefore, let your remembrance of Allāh be constant, consistent and fervent. Do not wait until calamity comes knocking before you seek for divine intervention and salvation.
JALABIISTS bawo, kia they will go bankrupt and extinct.
6. Do not despair; no matter the gravity of your sins: Perhaps, most people think that Alfas do not sin, or that they have a special spiritual tranquilizer that neutralizes their sins. It is this feeling that makes them approach the supposedly SAINTLY & STAINLESS ALFAS in search
of solution to their problems. Unknowing to them, most of those fraudsters are even worse Criminals in the sight of Allāh than those approaching them. As a Muslim, Allāh assures you of His extreme mercy & compassion. HE admonishes you to not be weighed down by the mountains of
your sins; for Allah is oft forgiving and ever merciful.

"Say, "O My servants who have transgressed
against themselves (by sinning), do not despair of the mercy of Allāh,. Indeed, Allāh forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

This verse can only be appreciated when one realizes what awaits the one that is optimistic about the mercy of Allāh.
"He (Ibrāhīm) said, "No one despair of the mercy of his Lord except those that have strayed."
Therefore, it is not right for a believer to feel inferior about himself, or be pessimistic about the blessings of his Lord.
At all time, you must realize that Allāh has not forgotten you, except of course you have forgotten Him. God-forgetfulness leads to self-forgetting.
The Prophet ﷺ never wavered in his strong belief in Allāh's intervention even when the enemies almost got a hold of him. Whilst hiding in the cave of Thawr, he told Abūbakr, "Do not be sad, Allāh is  with us  لا تحزن إن الله معنا

The Prophet ﷺ admonishes every sincere believer
to invoke Allāh with optimism.
Abū Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allāh said, "Invoke Allāh with optimism in the acceptance of your prayers; and you should know that Allah does not accept the Du'ā from a playful mind"
Thus, you don't need the aid of any JALABIIST to win contracts or prosper in your business or get promotion at work. All you need do is supplicate in your own little way and be hopeful of Allāh's intervention. It is not until you recite the whole Qur'ān or sacrifice an animal.
7. Taqwā, Istighfār and Tawbah pave way for you, no matter how impossible the task seems: What drives most people to JALABIISTS is their ignorance about the hidden invaluable treasures in the Qur’ān, that one can explore in difficult situations. One of these invaluable treasures
is Taqwā. Taqwā, simply put means to be conscious of Allāh in whatever we do, by obliging His commands and abandoning His prohibitions. A Muttaqi therefore, gains Allāh's rahma with righteous deeds and avoids His wrath by steering clear of evil deeds.
Allāh promises whosoever fears Him that He would grant him a fulfilled and successful life. He says:
"He who fears Allāh, He shall pave a way for him (out of difficulties); & He shall provide for him from where he least expects"
He continues,
"And whoever fears Allāh, He shall make his matters easy for him"

If you develop Taqwā for Allāh, by abiding by His decrees, Allāh promises to pave way for you out of your predicaments. This shows that you do not need the service
of any ALFRAUD to get solution to your problems. Allāh does not renege on His promises; trust Him. Allāh says:
"O you who believe! If you fear Allāh, He will grant you furqān (a criterion to judge between right and wrong, or Makhraj i.e. paving a way out of difficulty), and exonerate you of your shortcomings..... "

Istighfār & Tawbah ensure Divine blessings such as sending down of the
rains, blessings of wealth and children, abundant harvest and flowing rivers.
The Prophet whose past and future sins Allāh hath forgiven said that he used to seek for Allāh's forgiveness about a hundred times per day. To further appreciate the potency of Istighfār, Allāh said He did not destroy the Makkans, in spite of their persecution of the Muslims
because they do Istighfaar constantly.
Therefore, if polytheists could enjoy Allāh's rahma because of Istighfār, isn't the Muslim more deserving of such favours?

Seek Allah's forgiveness over your misdeeds & see wonders!
8. What is meant for you will never miss you: One reason why you do not need the service of any JALABIIST to seek favour from Allāh or avert evil is the fact that Allāh has recorded everything that will happen, why it will happen, when it will happen, how & where will happen.
This information is contained in a Divine book called اللوح المحفوظ or أم الكتاب. It is a fundamental article of faith to believe in Qadar: whether good or bad. Qadar is the chronology of events that will happen in our daily lives, as decreed by Allāh.
Whatever is destined to happen to one, whether good or evil shall come to pass by the Will of Allāh, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. The Prophet said,

"Allāh has decreed the destiny of all beings 50,000 years before the creation of heavens and earth"

As a Muslim, one must accept the Will of Allah at all times; as failure to do so is an act of kufr (disbelief).
The Sahābah were once told that the enemies had assembled a large army capable of wiping all Muslims off the surface of the earth. But rather than panic, their īmān in Allāh skyrocketed, and they said: "Sufficient for us is Allāh, and Most Excellent is the Protector"
In another instance, when the Kuffār where hoping that evil afflicts the believers at the battlefield, the Prophet said to them: "Nothing shall afflict us, except what Allāh has
ordained for us; He is our Patron, on Allah let the believers rely."
It is extremely important to note that Islām advocates striving hard to achieve a target goal within the limits of one's power & ability.
A Muslim must do his best in all circumstances and then invoke Allāh and rely on Him for success. This, however, should not be misconstrued as engaging in fetish acts or doing bid'ah (innovated acts that have no basis in the Qur’ān & Sunnah).

“One day I was riding (a horse/camel) behind the Prophet, when he said, ‘Young man, I will teach you some words. Be mindful of Allāh, and He will take care of you. Be mindful of Him, and you shall find Him at your side. If you ask, ask Allāh
If you need help, seek it from Allāh. Know that if the whole world were to gather together in order to help you, they would not be able to help you except if Allāh had written so. And if the whole world were to gather together in order to harm you, they would not harm you except
if Allāh had written so. The pens have been lifted, and the pages are dry."

If you're destined to be poor, no matter how hard you labour nothing can make you rich. Even if you do money rituals, you're only wasting your time. If you're destined to be dull, drink ilihāmu from now
till the last day, nothing can change it. Not a million Muhibah can win you the heart of a woman. Therefore stop wasting your time and money going after ALFRAUDS; they will only dupe you and make your life more miserable. Keep praying to Allāh in secret and openly.
9. Trials & Tribulations are normal in life: Most people fail to realize that life itself is a trial, and that it is part of the Divine design that every soul will experience difficulties of varying degrees & magnitude at some point in life.
This is why whenever they are afflicted with tribulations, they feel like they are the only one passing through trial. So they rush to the ALFRAUDS to save them. Had they been constant in recitation of the Qur’ān, they would have known that Allāh had promised to continue to
bombard us with travails until our faith in Him is firmly established and strongly ascertained.
"It is He (Allah) that hath created death and life (in order) to test you, who among you will be righteous in deeds... " Q. 67:2

"And We shall surely test you with something of FEAR, HUNGER, LOSS Of WEALTH, LIFE & CROPS. Give glad tidings to the patient ones." Q. 2:155

"And We shall
surely put you to trial, until We decipher those who strive (in our course with sincerity) and the patient ones..." Q. 47:31

"And know that your wealth & children are a fitnah"

"Every soul shall taste death; and We shall test you with good and evil as tribulations"

These verses, if well understood, clearly indicate that the problems we face in life are natural & normal. In fact, to further buttress this point, the Prophet said, "The worst of mankind
in tribulations are the Prophets of Allāh, then those like them (in faith) and those like them (in faith). A man shall be tested according to the level of his faith. If he is firm in his religion, his tribulations will be worst; & if he is weak in his religion, he shall be tested
accordingly. No one on the surface of the earth shall be left alone without trial until all his sins are wiped off(with series of travails)."

Remember that even the Prophet had 7 children, six of whom died before his very eyes. He lived an austere life, despite that Allāh could
make him the richest man to ever walk on earth. Prophet Yūsuf's brothers conspired against him & sold him into slavery. Later, he was imprisoned in Egypt. Prophet Sulaiman lost his throne to a demon for a while. Prophet Ibrāhīm was thrown in the fire & later banished.
He was barren for many years (100) according to some Exegetes. And the list is endless.

Imam Shaafi'i wrote:
Don't panic when DISASTER looms or falls. Pray to Allāh and rely only on Him for succor and help. For every problem, Allāh has a solution. JALABIISTS are mere liars who will destroy your faith and life.
10. JALABIISTS are human beings like you; they also have personal problems: Some people regard JALABI ALFRAUDS as superhumans that do not have any problem at all. This perception is baseless & wrong. In fact, in some cases, the ALFRAUDS face worse problems that their clients.
Have you ever wondered what they do with the animals (cows, rams, goats & chickens) that they ask you to bring? They are hungry fellows feasting on your naivety & foolishness. Have you ever wondered why your Alfa requests that you credit his account?
And why he keeps calling your phone till you pay it? If he were real, why would he wait for your money before he pays his house rent, or feed his family, or pay his children's tuition fee? Some of them even use your money to buy clothes, cars as well as complete their buildings.
Yet, you, the financier-in-chief of the Alfa lives in a rented apartment and climbs Okada upandan. No human being on earth doesn't face problems, so stop wasting your money paying a fellow prisoner to set you free from incarceration.
Allāh says:
"Verily, those whom you call on besides Allāh are servants (in a state of subjugation) like yourselves; therefore, call on them and let them answer you if you're truthful." Q. 7:194
JALABIISTS are weak creatures that can neither avail themselves of tribulations nor avert an impending travail. Thus, taking your problems to them is like grabbing a drowning person in a desperate bid to escape death. Both of you would drown because none can save the other.
Allāh says:
"O you who believe! A parable has been set forth; therefore, listen to it: Verily, those whom you call upon besides Allāh cannot create a fly, even if they should all gather for it, & should the fly snatch away anything from them, they cannot retrieve it from them;
weak are (both you, the) seeker and (he) the sought."

Why do you need to take a long trip seeking succor when Allāh is at your beck and call? What makes you think that a fellow being whose problems are perhaps greater than yours has the solution to your problems?
The Prophet is the most beloved being to Allāh. Yet, he couldn't help himself when calamities struck at the battle of Uhud & Hunayn.
"Say, (O Muhammad)! I do not control any benefit or harm for my own soul, except what Allāh Wills; and had I known the unseen, I would have had much of good and no evil would have befallen me. I am nothing but a Warner and giver of good tidings to a people who believe." Q. 7:188
"Say, (O Muhammad)! I do on control for myself any harm or benefit except what pleases Allāh..." Q.10:49

"Say, (O Muhammad) I do not control for you evil or good." Q.72:21
Now, ask yourself, if Muhammad cannot control what happens to himself or his Ummah, what greater Divine status has an ALFRAUD to avail you of calamities or bring goodness to you? He even declared that he does not know what Allāh will do with him or us on the day of resurrection!
"Say, (O Muhammad)! I am not the first of the Apostles, and I do not know what will be done with me or with you..."
11. JALABIISTS are worse fetishists than traditional herbalists: In decades past, traditional herbalists were renowned for their fetishism and use of magic. Today, the JALABI ALFRAUDS have not only taken over this evil act, but have also surpassed their masters in the art.
JALABIISTS have become regular customers to #iyalekulejas at #gegele & #oja-oba areas here in ilorin. Almost on a daily basis, they are seen purchasing items like: heads of agama 🦎 frogs, cat heads & eyes, 🐍 heads, leopard skin, #amunimuye leaf, human limbs & cadavers etc.
Sometimes, they even purchase live animals, roast them alive & mix with black soap for bathing or as flour for consumption. Some request for strange items like a cripple's thumb; hunchback; albino's eyes; water used to wash the dead; shroud of the dead; placenta of the newborn);
pubic or armpit hair; a day old infant; etc. Some connive with cemetery guards to obtain limbs of the dead or bury some charms in the graveyards. Some hire kidnappers to help them get a specified human being & extract the eyes, breasts, genitals, hearts, lungs or livers, etc.
Some are said to be burying animals alive or even slaughter animals with red-hot knives. JALABIISTS are very fond of conjuring charms & making use of talismans. For love charm, they tell you to bury the talisman underneath a cooking place; for separation, you're told to nail the
talisman to a baobab tree, for #hirz, they ask you to bury the charm at the market place where people would usually pass, for bad dreams, they ask you to put the talisman under your pillow; for protection, they tell you to always have the #ifunpa or #igbadi on you; et cetera.
These talismans are extractions from compendium of magic inherited from generations past known as #kundi or #asiri. The contents of these books have no basis in the Qur’ān or Sunnah; they are mere concoction of human folly.
It was narrated from Zaynab the wife of ‘Abdullāh ibn Mas’ūd from ‘Abdullāh that he said:“I heard the Messenger of Allāh say
"Spells, amulets & love-charms are SHIRK.” I said, “Why do you say this? By Allāh, my eye was weeping with a discharge & I kept going to so & so, a Jew, who did a spell for me. When he did the spell, it calmed down.” ‘Abdullāh said: “That was just the work of the Shaytaan who
was picking it with his hand, and when (the Jew) uttered the spell, he stopped. All you needed to do was to say as the Messenger of Allāh used to say: ‘Adhhib il-ba’s Rabb an-nās ishfi anta ash-Shāfī lā shifā’a illā shifā’uka shifā’an lā yughādiru saqaman (Remove the harm, O Lord
of mankind, and heal, You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing, a healing which leaves no disease behind."
It was narrated that ‘Uqbah
ibn ‘Āmir said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh say: “Whoever wears an amulet, may Allāh not fulfil his need, and whoever wears a sea-shell, may Allāh not give him peace.”

Thus, It is forbidden in Islām to engage in fetish acts.
In the Qur’ān and Sunnah are more than enough solutions to our problems. We do not need to add #idodo-efan (mosquitoes' navel) or #ifun aayan (cockroaches' intestine) to anything for usage or consumption to seek favours from Allāh.

Ten rules of dealing with difficulties

Dr Umar al-Muqbil

You’re NOT alone

Allāh does everything for a reason

Only Allāh can benefit and harm. Hold on to none but Him.

Whatever harms you could never have missed you and
whatever misses you could never have harmed you.

Know the reality of life (life is temporary and short) and you shall be relieved.

Have a good thought about your Lord.

It is permitted to take the Janābah bath with soap (and sponge). This can be done through either of the following two ways:

* The bathwater can be mixed with soap (liquid or powdered) and then used to take the Janābah bath. (This is debatable. The majority of the scholars
oppose its use while Abū Hanīfah, Ahmad in one of his two views & which is the stand of Ibn Taimiyah permit it.). The view of permissibility is stronger in proof but the view of impermissibility is safer.
* The sexually defiled person can rub soap on his body and then take the Janābah bath while washing the soap off his body. (This is permitted by all).

On the other hand, one may choose to take the Janābah bath first before resorting to using soap to take his usual bath,

1. Your parents raised me from birth because I lost mine. They treated me like their own. They hired a nanny to breastfeed me so I didn't suckle your mother's breasts. All these happened while they were still barren. Later, Allāh blessed them with children of their own.
2. You and your siblings were born into my hands. You all grew up seeing me as your elder bro. In fact, I bathed all of you as kids & prepared you for school. You turned out to be a very beautiful, religious and well-behaved lady. I was still without a wife. So I proposed to you.
3. Shocked, you exclaimed: How can you propose to your own sister?! That's incest!!! I sat you down and explained to you how we are not related by blood and how we do not fall under those not permitted by the Sharī'ah to marry.

Our Situation Today

A stone fell on a fox’s tail and severed it.

When another fox saw him, he asked, why did you severe your tail? He replied:
I feel happiness (without the tail). I feel like I’m flying in the air. What a great delight it is!

So the second fox cut his own tail, but rather than find it pleasurable like his friend said,
he felt sharp and excruciating pains. Turning to his friend, he asked, why did you lie to me?

He replied, if you inform other foxes about the pain, they will not cut their tails and will make mockery of us.

One of the obligatory duties upon every sincere Muslim is to not make aby statement or take any action except that he knows the injunction of Allāh on it. It is on this basis that Allāh commands thus:

"So ask those who possess knowledge if you do not know." (16:43)

This is why eminent scholars of Hadīth like Al-Bukhārī رحمه الله among others have a chapter dedicated for this purpose. It reads:

Chapter: (The obligation of seeking)
knowledge before making statements and performing actions.

Al-Akhdarī, the Mālikī jurist wrote in the introduction of his work:

"It is not permitted for him (Muslim)

Nupeland is a theatre of charade & shenanigans. Perhaps one of the catalysts for the pervasive absurdities in Nupeland is the Sūfī's unnecessary emphasis on, nay exaggeration of the concepts of wilāyah & karāmāt, & their inability to differentiate between the latter & sorcery.
As a Muslim & researcher, I totally believe in the concepts of wilāyah & karāmāt. However, I have a problem with the fact that Sūfīs tend to have monopolized these concepts & arrogated to their acclaimed saints the power to exhibit karāmāt almost to the exclusion of others.
Allāh defines his awliyā in the Qur'ān as:

"The ones who believe and are God-fearing." (10:63)

Thus, the criteria to be a waliyullāh are: Īmān (faith) and Taqwā (piety) and this is open to every Muslim.
