The Knesset hearing on antisemitism on social media platforms continues w/ reps from @Facebook and @Google.

@Twitter is back too.

Looking forward to learning what these platforms are doing to combat double standards...

Extremely disappointed that reps from @tiktok_us backed out of today's Knesset hearing.

TikTok has allowed millions of young users to view and interact with virulently antisemitic content and must be held to account.

Facebook admits it took them *36 hours* to remove Wiley’s antisemitic content from Instagram!

This is why clear definitions of hate are so important. @Facebook MUST adopt the @TheIHRA definition so that it can quickly flag and deal with content filled with hatred against Jews.

I again asked @Twitter to review their policies that allow for double standards.

I reminded them that the fact that Iran and #Hezbollah praised Twitter for referring to calls for genocide against the only Jewish State as "saber rattling" is NOT something to be proud of.

We just heard from @Google.

Similar to Facebook, their policies are good on paper but lack in practice.

They also fall short of being able to address modern day #antisemitism, like double standards against the only Jewish State and hate speech against Zionists.

Thank you @Facebook, @Google, and @Twitter for participating in today's hearing and for agreeing to work together and collaborate w/ the Knesset in order to combat #antisemitism.

This is a significant step forward and will ensure that universal rights are promoted and protected!
