On this auspicious occasion – when Shree Ram has returned to his Janmabhoomi, I wanted to know a bit more about Shree Ram. I know there’s lot more one can learn about Him by reading Ramayana or various posts on Him here Twitter itself.

@narendramodi @myogiadityanath @AmitShah
However, my quest was to know what makes Raghu-Kula Prince Ram to be worshipped as Maryada Purshottam Shree Ram. A humble request to all, please read through before sharing your views. #JaiShreeRam
It's been ages since the time of Shree Ram; Ramayana took place in altogether different Yuga! However, look at the fervour today, He's still being revered and prayed to, celebrated across various parts of world, mere mention of His name absolves people from their worry.
@shri_v
So, what makes him such a revered and illustrious figure? I got curious and got to work, reading few things last night (remember - Google Gyaani) and came across interesting information. Do you (because now I do) know that Shree Ram is not a ‘Poorna Avatar’,
@hathyogi31
it is Sri Krishna who is ‘Poorna Avatar’.

Yes, I know Shree Ram is epitome of Man, but what made him so? This is what I was seeking answer to.

Let's start from what Shree Ram is remembered &celebrated for - defeating the mighty Ravana. How come a mere Human Being,
a normal Man (okay, a Kshatriya Prince, Vishnu Avatar) can defeat Lankeshwar?!

Let's go a bit back, Ravana performed 'Tapas' to Brahma, seeking immortality. However, when Brahmaji refused to give such boon, Ravana went for next best thing.

@chittukuruvi4
He sought a boon - invincibility and immunity from Devās, Gandharvās, Nagās, Yakshā, Dānavās. Ravana did not consider Humans to be a threat to him - the mighty King and in fact compared Humans to a straw in front of him.

@Itishree001 @Anshulspiritual @LostTemple7 @Lost_History1
Fast forward, it’s time for Sri Vishnu Avatar, however in order to take advantage of Ravana’s boon (where he missed seeking immunity against human), Sri Vishnu before taking ‘Avatar’ dropped two of the 16 Kalas to be human.

@desi_thug1 @iSachinDeshwal @InfoVedic
Now, what are the ‘Kalas’? It literally means ‘Art’ or ‘Divine Art’, to simplify further, we can consider it as a special attribute. In my search, different people listed different 16 Kalas (I’ll share link to those post in last tweet, if anyone’s interested to know more).
One common list I found in two articles are as below:

1) Anna Maya (with cereals)
2) Pranamaya (with breath)
3) Mano Maya (with mind)
4) Vigyanamaya (with knowledge)
5) Anandamaya (with joy)
6) Atishayini (With Peace)
7) Viparinabhini (With Love)
8) Sankramini (With Creator)
9) Prabhavi (able to do seemingly impossible tasks)
10) Kunthini
11) Vikasini (विकासिन्. great )
12) Maryadini (highly respected or with etiquette)
13) Sanhaladini (संह्लादिन् . cheering, a source of happiness)
14) Ahladini (आह्लादिन् . causing joy or delight)

@TIinExile
15) Paripurna (complete knowledge of all forms of awakening)
16) Swarupavasthitha (swarup + awasthith = established in his real true self)

PS: I haven’t yet understood what these means, as that was not my nor the articles aim, for now. So, any knowledgeable person on my TL,
please feel free to quote and explain

According to some belief (and I’m inclined to agree), Shree Ram dropped the last two Kalas – Paripurna (complete knowledge of all forms of awakening) and Swarupavasthitha (established in his real true self).
@RajiIndustani @Prisma_Me
Let me explain why I believe so, Shree Ram in his life had one hurdle after another – losing his father, Maa Sita being kidnapped, Lakshman losing consciousness in war with Ravana. In each of these occasions, Shree Ram reacted as any normal human would have reacted – He cried.
A person with ‘Paripurna’ Kala would have realised all these are happening for a reason. Similarly, He was not ‘Swarupavasthitha’ because He never reverted to His Vishwaroopam, that could have taken care of Ravan and his army in one swoop. @Speakwithsense1 @premaswaroopam
Missing these two Kalas are also the reason why Shree Ram had to take help to wage war on Ravana.

Do you also (because I do now) know that every human is born with the first five Kalas, namely – Anna Maya, Prana Maya, Mano Maya, Vignana Maya and Ananda Maya? @HelloNNewman
Yeah, it’s true, we’re not making use of those Kalas are different matter altogether. A human could also perfect the next three Kalas with meditation and following Dharma. So, in total Humans can have and make use of 8 out of the 16 Kalas. @Go_Movie_Mango @Arpitapedia
Humans who could attain & practice the 9 Kala (Prabhavi – ability to do seemingly impossible task), apart from the first 8 Kala are the one’s closer to Bhagwan.

Q to all, how of these first 8 Kalas do you think we’re using now? @_Krantikari @Krishna_Priiya @GKPratibha
Answer this Q seriously, and if found lacking, let’s start working right away to make use of them. While we’re all happy to have Shree Ram back, He also needs Praja whom he could count on.

Am not sure, how many noticed, but the narrative changed towards the end. @paperrose2k
I started off to find what makes Shree Ram such an icon and ended up with information on how to better myself. Maybe, this characteristic of Ram – where you search for Him and it leads back to you – that makes Him who He is.

@My_new_avatar @Dharma_Yoddhaa @amatya18
Once again, a very Happy Diwali to all! Don’t forget to light a ‘diya’ at your home for two reasons:
1)Celebrate homecoming of Shree Ram
2)As a mark of Respect to people who were involved in Ram Janmabhoomi movement
