👀 FOCUS: “Over a period of months *last year,* it provided...” 👏🏼👏🏼
🤷🏽‍♀️🤔
The cake is baked, as they say. 😁
Read it and try not to puke, and then remember that Ghislaine Maxwell was scouting victims from Mar-A-Lago.

"Giuffre’s deposition alleges Maxwell recruited her at Mar-a-Lago when she was a spa attendant in her mid-teens."

miamiherald.com/news/state/flo…
"Deutsche Bank maintained a relationship w/
Epstein and related individuals and entities from 8/13 until 12/18...

Allegations against him began appearing in the press as early as 3/05 wi/ the accusation that he paid a 14-yr old girl for a “massage.”

dfs.ny.gov/system/files/d…
"That year (*2005*), the Palm Beach police commenced an
investigation into allegations against Mr. Epstein related to his activities in Palm Beach."

.....
"...a man named Roger Schank - who was the Chief Learning Officer at Trump University (lol), VISITED Jeffrey Epstein in 2008. Schank’s Wiki says he worked for Trump from 2005-2007."

Hey, did y'all know that spouses can't be forced to testify against their husbands? 🙄
"The investigation quickly uncovered dozens of other alleged victims. In particular, the investigation ID'd a number of individuals who were responsible for recruiting young women to come to Epstein’s house to give “massages” or otherwise furthering his abuse."

Recall at MAL.
'...in 2006 the State Atty handling the case [ACOSTA], after mtg privately w/ an atty rep'g Mr. Epstein [DERSH], ref'd the case to a state GJ instead of charging Epstein and co-conspirators for crimes...local PD believed there was abundant evidence."

Trumpy!
Acosta tried to hush it up, PBPD were pissed, gave the case details to FBI.

"As a result, the PB Police Chief publicly denounced the State Atty [ACOSTA] and ref'd the case to the FBI, which subsequently opened its own investigation..."

Supposedly, Epstein was "untouchable."
So just to recap: Trump & Jeffrey Epstein fell out over a mansion that Trump later sold to a Russian oligarch, and then Epstein had the cops on his ass (as he should), shortly thereafter. Then, Trump quickly married the immigrant escort who was a witness to all of it.

GOT IT?
"Trump and Epstein's friendship reportedly soured after they fought over a $41 million Palm Beach mansion.2 weeks after the home's auction, cops received a tip about underage women at Epstein's house."

insider.com/why-trump-epst…
"Additionally, press reports during this time noted allegations that Epstein was involved w/ *Eastern European women in particular and that a modeling agency* he helped fund brought “young girls...often from Eastern Europe” to the U.S. on Mr. Epstein’s priv jets."
Jeffrey was onboarded with Deutsche Bank, the same year Trump did his pageant in Russia, in 2013.

Prolly just a coincidence though.
The Relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and Deutsche bank, came through a Deutsche Bank Relationship manager, who had left another bank (US BANK-1), to join Deutsche's private wealth department in November 2012 (11/12).

Dates don't fit Vrablic.

dfs.ny.gov/system/files/d…
Deutsche Bank Exec: Despite Jeffrey's crimes, LOOK AT THE MONEY WE COULD MAKE!

Put everything under Jeffrey Epstein's entities, not personal accounts.

Like there's a difference.
Despite being a high risk, Deutsche Bank "...did designate [Jeffrey Epstein] as an “Honorary PEP” because of his connections to prominent political figures..."

Barf.
"As early as November 1, 2013 (11/1/13), however, Mr. Epstein and his representatives began using Deutsche Bank accounts to send wires to people who had been alleged to be co-conspirators in his past criminal offenses."

Sweet! 🙃

dfs.ny.gov/system/files/d…
"On 1/24/14 Deutsche Bank opened checking and money market accts for an Epstein-related trust named “The Butterfly Trust.” The Butterfly Trust included a
no of beneficiaries, including, among others, CO-CONSPIRATORS 1-3, and a number of women w/ Eastern European surnames..."
"The existence of coconspirators as beneficiaries of the trust created the very real risk that payments through the
Trust could be used to further or cover up criminal activity and perhaps even to endanger more young women."
"While Epstein held accounts at Deutsche Bank, he used the Butterfly Trust acct and various other accts to send over 120 wires totaling $2.65M to beneficiaries of the Butterfly Trust, including some transfers to alleged co-conspirators or women with Eastern
European surnames.."
$13 million dollars allegedly for legal expenses and settlements not just for Epstein, but on behalf of co-conspirators....
Deutsche Bank allegedly had in their possession evidence that “[b]y 2011, FORTY underage girls had come forward with testimony of Epstein sexually assaulting them” and that “Epstein [had] managed to settle at least 17 lawsuits out of court.”

And yet, they continued with him...
On 1/22/15, a Deustche Bank exec met with Epstein at his home. Whatever Jeffrey Epstein told the exec, they appeared to be satisfied with his responses.

No contemporaneous record exists of the meeting.
Shortly thereafter, "without explanation, that the committee was “comfortable with things continuing” with Mr. Epstein, and that another member of the committee had “noted a number of sizable deals recently.”

$$$$
Some new perameters were set on Jeffrey Epstein's accounts, yet not distributed fully to those in the need to know.
3/17 Deutsche Bank emails indicating, "no worries, payments to Russian models and Russian publicity agents are normal for Jeffrey Epstein! Proceed!" 🙃✌️
Jeffrey Epstein's attorney asking how could he do structured withdrawals so as not to trigger reporting requirements, and then being confronted about it, and denying it, lol.
Don't we all need $100,000 cash for tipping and household expenses? Sheesh.
Julie K. Brown's dragging Jeffrey Epstein's ass royally in 2018, caused Deutsche Bank execs to reconsider.

On 12/21/18 they informed him they would no longer be servicing his accounts, LOL.

They gave him glowing references and showed him the door.
Deutsche Bank's failure to scrutinize Jeffrey Epstein more closely, e.g., WHY did he need $200K in cash, on avg, annually...
Shoddy record-keeping, or no record keeping at all... convenient.
Shoddy record-keeping, or no record keeping at all... convenient.

The consent decree also covers transactions with Jeffrey Epstein's "entities" and foreign banks. FBME and Danske Bank.
Deutsche bank failed to monitor the transactions with FBME (Cypress, Russia, Tanzania), and Danske bank (Denmark) adequately.
"Despite the high number of suspicious transactions in relation to FBME, the Bank facilitated 478,379 dollar-denominated transactions totaling more than $618 billion over the course of the relationship."
After Deutsche decided to close the FBME relationship in 7/14, the U.S. Gov determined that OFFSHORE COMPANY-1’s ultimate beneficial owner was a Russian
businessman who was affiliated w/ a Syrian research facility responsible for developing/producing non-conventional weapons."
"The Dept recognizes and credits the Bank’s exemplary cooperation during the course of the Department’s investigations of the Bank’s former relationships with Danske Bank, FBME, and Jeffrey Epstein. This cooperation, which occurred over *several years*..."
The slap on the wrist ($150,000,000), Deutsche Bank now has an independent monitor and must cooperate in the future.

<eot>
"...Deutsche Bank declined to publicly ID any individuals involved — and the authorities didn’t demand it. The so-called consent order w/ the NY agency included no names of the bankers or execs implicated; instead, the doc is littered w references..."

nytimes.com/2020/07/13/bus…
"Based on descriptions of the employees in the consent order and interviews w/ current and former Deutsche Bank officials, The NYT was able to ID nearly every person anonymously described in the order," that made Epstein's banking relationship w/ Deutsche Bank, possible...
"At least one high-ranking executive remains in her position: Jan Ford, the bank’s head of compliance in the Americas."

#Epstein #Deutsche Bank

nytimes.com/2020/07/13/bus…
"Since neither the regulator nor the bank would reveal the people responsible for the misconduct, my colleagues and I decided to fill in some of the blanks left by the consent order...."
BOOM:

“RELATIONSHIP MANAGER-1,” who brought Mr. Epstein into Deutsche Bank, is Paul Morris, who had previously helped manage the Epstein account at JPMorgan."

Got ' em.

"Despite Mr. Epstein’s conviction in 2008 of soliciting prostitution from a minor and widespread press coverage of his involvement with underage girls, Mr. Morris in 2013 introduced Mr. Epstein to his Deutsche Bank bosses..."
"....as “a potential client who could generate millions of dollars of rev as well as leads for other lucrative clients to the bank...

In a subsequent email to higher-ups...Morris noted that the Epstein relationship could generate annual revenues of up to $4M."

Was it worth it?
"Mr. Morris needed approval for a client who carried such reputational risk. He sent Charles Packard, the head of the bank’s American wealth-management division and described in the consent order as “EXECUTIVE-1,” a memo detailing Mr. Epstein’s controversial past."

#DeutscheBank
"In a subsequent email, Packard said that he had taken the issue to the div’s gen counsel and the head of its anti-money-laundering ops and that neither felt Epstein req'd additional review. “We can move ahead so long as nothing further is identified,” Packard wrote in a 5/13..."
"(Deutsche Bank told regulators that it found no written record of any approval from the executives Mr. Packard said he consulted.)"

Naturally.
"At the time, Deutsche Bank was aggressively expanding its U.S. wealth mgmt biz under its new co-chief exec, Anshu Jain. The bank developed a reputation for courting wealthy clients who other banks shunned — including a default-prone real estate developer named Donald Trump."
Weird! They were searching for unbanked DIRTBAGS, and found potus...
"Once the Epstein relationship was underway, Deutsche Bank execs ignored repeated red flags, including suspiciously large cash withdrawals and 120 wire transfers totaling $2.65M to women w/ Eastern Euro surnames and ppl wh'd been publicly ID'd as Mr. Epstein’s co-conspirators."
"Morris and Packard met w/ Epstein at his East 71st Street mansion in January 2015 (1/15) and asked him “about the veracity of the recent allegations,” according to the consent order. NO ONE TOOK NOTES; the bank told regulators it had no record of the substance of the meeting."
"Eight days after the visit to Mr. Epstein’s mansion, a bank committee charged with vetting transactions that pose risks to the bank’s reputation held a meeting...."
"According to a bank official familiar w/ the meeting, it was chaired by Stuart Clarke, COO for the Americas; other attendees included Michael Chepiga, acting gen counsel for the Americas; and Ms. Ford, the compliance exec who had joined the bank just one week earlier."
"The committee concluded that it was “comfortable w/ things continuing” w/ Mr. Epstein, according to an email that a committee member sent to Packard. One committee member “noted a number of sizable deals recently...." In other words, the relationship was making money..."
"The following wk Ms. Ford, the head of compliance, memorialized the decision in an email to Packard and other execs that put THE ONUS squarely on Packard: Deutsche would “continue biz as usual w/ Epstein based upon” Packard’s “due diligence visit w/ HIM.”

I know that's right!
"Ms. Ford also imposed some conditions on the relationship, but MR. PACKARD and others “inexplicably” FAILED to convey those conditions to all of those who regularly dealt with Mr. Epstein. "
"Only after The Miami Herald revealed in 11/18 the extent of Mr. Epstein’s sexual misconduct and lenient plea deal did Deutsche Bank begin to wind down its relationship w/ Epstein. Even then, a bank exec wrote letters to two other..institutions essentially vouching for Epstein."
.@jkbjournalist YOU did that. 👑
@jkbjournalist "By then Mr. Morris and Mr. Packard had both left the bank. Mr. Morris went to Merrill Lynch, where he’s a private wealth adviser. Mr. Packard joined Bridgewater Associates, the hedge fund founded by Ray Dalio."
@jkbjournalist "Of the members of the risk-assessment committee who approved continuing the Epstein relationship, Mr. Clarke and Mr. Chepiga have both left the bank. Only Ms. Ford remains."

Stopping here, as we have the names. Link back to article.

nytimes.com/2020/07/13/bus…
Paul Morris, left for Merrill Lynch (NYT says), right?

The dirtbag doesn't even mention his work at Deutsche Bank with Jeffrey Epstein, on his LinkedIn. Merrill, and nothing else.

Gee, wonder why?

linkedin.com/in/paul-morris…
And yes, it's the same guy.

Looks like Paul Morris had all photos of him at Deutsche Bank, scrubbed. Smart, I guess.
